Research Paper Rough Draft
Being a software engineer in today’s society is very important because if we did not have anyone to come and work on our computers or even supply us with computers then our technology these days would be worse than what they actually are. With the advances today and to develop in the future, pursuing a career in computer technology has job security because you can grow from it. When choosing a profession in computer technology there is such a variety of jobs you must do your research to see which one is going to be most suitable for you and what the job requirements are. With every profession comes criticism you must look past it to be able to get down to what you are wanting to accomplish that way you can be the successful person that you are looking to be in this profession. When looking into the profession learning from the influences that have shaped and effected the computer technology profession you have to be able to take it what is thrown at you and learn from it.
To become a software engineer you are going to need to at least have a minimum of an associate’s degree, but it all will depend on the employer because some of them may require you to have a bachelor’s or even a master’s degree“http://www.collegequest.com/how-to-become-a-software-engineer.aspx” it all just depends on your employer that you are wanting to apply to. You are going to need to have strong problem solving , and communication skills because you are going to need to be able to solve many different problems that may occur and have to be able to communicate professionally with not only your associates but as well your bosses. Also, you will need to have an aptitude for math and science“http://www.collegequest.com/how-to-become-a-software-engineer.aspx”. To be in the software engineer profession you need to have your credentials to go along with your skills that you already have to help you make you the absolute best that you can be. I think that as long as you have your credentials to be able to back you up with the skills that you already profess I think that you can be able to get pretty much any job you are want to get. If you don’t have those credentials to go along with your skills you are going to get that absolute amazing job that you are looking to get like all of your friends that you know that went on to finish everything and working for the top of the line software engineer company doing absolutely everything that they love. You have to do everything that it takes to get what you want because at the end of the day you are trying to make a better life for you and your future.
The professional skills and personal attributes that you are going to need are as follows. You are going to need to have the ability to apply professional judgment, balancing issues of costs benefits, safety, and quality. Also, you will need to be self-motivated“http://www.pble.ac.uk/pble-sd/skills-attrib-qual.html” to be able to be a strong and dedicated worker. There are several skills out there that you can have that can make you more than qualified. I believe that just because you went to school and got a degree that technically does not make you qualified you have to be able to know what you are doing you have to know what you are doing to be able to do exactly what you are wanting to do for the rest of your life as a career I think that going to school is just to show that you have the certificate to prove that you actually learned something, but that is not going to give you the hands on training you need. A lot of people that are in this profession have taught themselves how to do most of the stuff that they are doing today because they started at a young age trying how to do a lot of the things that people are having people do for them.
In being a software engineer, you will encounter many different types of criticism the public will misunderstand this profession as well as criticize it too. A lot of times people will say that this profession is too time consuming and that it takes too much time to try and understand or that it is just too aggravating to understand. They may criticize this profession because they do not know what they do in this profession or that this profession just does not interest them. At the end of the day the same people that are criticizing your profession are the same people that have no idea what you do how you do it or why you do it, and that is why I think that you should always think before you speak and learn about what it is before you speak up and start criticizing something you know nothing about. Also another thing that I found out when researching this profession about criticism I realized that this profession is just like any other you are going to have the type of people who do not like what you are doing or even how you are doing, but those are the same people who do not understand or even realize what it really is that you are doing to begin with. Once I get into the profession I want to make sure that I clarify with everyone out there what it is what I will really be doing so that I am not one of those people that everyone through into their most hated list or into their list of worst jobs that you could possibly have.
When you are arguing this profession, you will need to have good counter arguments that will help you convince them otherwise. If you are able to talk to people and get them to listen to you and actually explain what all it is that a software engineer actually does then they might actually be grateful because nowadays a lot of people work with computers, and that is mainly what they do is fix computers. Also let people know that this profession is not just all fun and games they do not just sit around playing games on the computers and goofing around all the time it is actually a very tedious and time consuming profession.
There are all kinds of influences that could shape and effect this profession today. The type of trends that the economy will have is that software jobs are starting to expand the way beyond the outside of the technology business. As long as the technology market keeps growing and developing at the pace that they are at, then there will always be jobs around for people. The business is growing so rapidly that we are getting new technology that we never thought about having. In the way that the economy is growing there is no way to tell which way the market will go if they will start losing jobs or gaining more new jobs because they are coming out with newer and newer technology that we would have never figured or imagined of having ten years ago. If you were to ask anyone ten years ago where they picture the technology market to be in ten years they would have said flying cars but we all know that are technology isn’t that smart to figure out how to get a car to float in the air for a long period of time.
Being a software engineer in today’s society is very important because if we did not have anyone to come and work on our computers or even supply us with computers then our technology these days would be worse than what they actually are. With the advances today and to develop in the future, pursuing a career in computer technology has job security because you can grow from it. Business Paper

...all of you for reaching the final week of this course. It all goes by so quickly. Below I describe all of the work you’ll need to complete during this final week. SUNDAY-TUESDAY, JUNE 19-21 • Complete your research. By now, all of you should have finished all research for the upcoming Recommendation Report. If you haven’t done so, be sure to finish it on Sunday in order to leave at least two days to write the report. • Write the first draft of the Recommendation Report. Please do NOT begin writing this report on Tuesday – give yourself at least two days to work on the writing of this lengthy report. I suggest that you keep the assignment in front of you, and do feel free to take a peek, as useful, at the model Recommendation Reports that I posted in Content, Week 4. Seeing the models will give you a good idea about the organization, design, format, visuals, and length that work well for this assignment. Be careful, though, not to copy the style of writing from the samples – instead, use your own natural business writing style for this assignment. Also, keep in mind that the models don’t always adhere to my assignment criteria, so if you ever see that the models are not following the assignment requirements, follow the assignment and ignore the models. • Post a single file containing your first draft of the Recommendation Report in the dropbox by midnight, Tuesday, June 21. No extensions are possible for this first draft. Note that if I notice anyone...

College Writing Process Analysis

...have realized that the process that is involved for college writing is much more complex. For example when I write an essay for my english classes in high school all that is required is a rough draft and a final draft and sometimes you need to have it peer edited before submitting it. Differently during the writing process for a college essay I had to have 2 rough drafts revised and edited and a final draft to meet the requirements. Another big difference in the writing process is the we had to turn in a annotated bibliography that I had never been required to turn in , in any of my high school writing classes. Going through the writing process it has changed the way i see college writing...

English 214: Course Analysis

...Entering this course, English 214, the perspective that I had is that it would not be as different from my prior English class, English 114. As I began to learn about the course and its structure, it did become clear that both English classes would not be too distinct from one another. For instance, this course would also revolve around your own topic of choice, in which throughout the semester your writing would be based on that topic. I personally like this structure of the class, since I am able to grow as a writer, reader, and critical thinker while studying and researching a topic that interests me. My understanding of writing at the beginning of this course, I believed that the only way that I was going to improve would be through...

On Writing

...Ashley Eller December 12, 2011 UCWR110-022 Final Reflective Essay On Writing My favorite author and literary genius, Stephen King, in his memoir On Writing wrote, “Write with the door closed, rewrite with the door open.” This is possibly the best piece of advice I could ever think to give to a struggling student with a paper to write. Your first draft is always for yourself and your own personal reflection. In your second draft, “open up the doors” and write for everyone else who will be reading it. Without this solid piece of advice, I don’t think I could have ever expanded on my writing at all. Over the years, my writing career has hit its peak in junior year, and I have plateaued from there. Since being a UCWR student, I have had the chance to expand my range in my writing skills. From this course, I have learned to expand my writing ability to subjects I would never have broached before, allowing myself to heighten my awareness of the world around me as well as hinder my procrastination. In the beginning of the year, I was very disappointed I would have to take this course. From my previous experience with accelerated English and rhetoric courses, I felt I would be bored and disappointed with the classroom experience. Over the course of the semester, I have learned I was wrong. While in the beginning my engagement level was poor, I was still interested by the current events brought up in class. Some of the biggest topics we discussed (Occupy Wallstreet, Penn State...

Paragraph Writing

...Jessica Gibson I think my essay could have been a lot better than what I did. My essay lacked sequential order. I feel like my sentences could have been a bit more complex also. I think my topics did address my thesis statement the correct way. My paragraphs did not have a strong closing to support my topic. My essay only had little coherence; It flowed in certain portions of the essay. I think the order of my essay could have been revised from less important to most important. I think I did have strong evidence to support my topic but I could’ve used more vivid language. I also think the essay did reflect the evidence and explained the importance. I didn’t use many transitions in the essay neither. I think I could have used more transitional words to help my essay flow better. My goal when rewriting my essay is to be as vivid as possible. I admit my rough draft had many errors but I will try my best to avoid those errors when writing my final draft. My final draft will have better sentence structure and more transitions to help my essay flow better. I will try my best to support my topics in each paragraph so my essay. My final draft should be fresh and interesting. I think I didn’t paste myself for my rough draft and was trying to get the essay done. I must learn to paste myself and take out time to get all my thoughts together to improve my essay. I will try to use some of the techniques from the class to have a successful...

The Importance Of Writing

...essays for my English classes. At first, I did not have a reliable writing process. I would free write a rough draft and turn it in as a final draft. I would also write last minute instead of using the time to create a well-thought essay. I focused more on passing a class rather than boosting my writing skills. Now that I am in college, I take writing seriously. Throughout the years, my writing process has drastically changed. As a writer, I will continue to advance my writing skills. Prewriting is significant when preparing for an essay, although this step is most of the time ignored. The process of writing is just as important as the writing itself. Prewriting is great for writers to have an organized essay. Sectioning the writing process can make writing less stressful and gives the writer more time to go back and improve their paper. My writing process consists of brainstorming, outlining, rough drafting, and peer revisions....
