In summary, within my positive cycle the input I received was my first Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) program passing grade. Upon receiving the input, I immediately had these thoughts, “I passed”, “I’m a success”, “I will make it through school”, “I need to stay focused and on task”, “what a relief”. These thoughts stem from my values to be a success, previous and new habits of carving out quality-time to complete my work, and my mind-brain-body with feelings of happiness and pride. The skilled action I chose was one of process skills where I determined I will work to translate my first successful class into the remaining classes in the OTD program.
