These findings suggest that measuring all dimensions of ad delivery for every placement in a holistic fashion is critical and that optimizing delivery in-flight is a necessary step in the campaign management process. The findings also support the argument that any digital GRP metric must account for validated, not gross impressions. This validated impression measurement mustinclude ‘viewable impressions,’ based on the very simple notion that if an ad is not seen, it cannot possibly deliver its intended effect. comScore is leading a charge to ensure that advertisers are getting the most out of their digital marketing campaigns. My Friend

...My friend Every person needs a friend. Friends are very important in our life. I think you cannot live without friends. A friend is a person who always there for you. Your close friend or best friend is a person whom you can trust with everything no matter what happens. Your true friend is always ready to help you. To support you if you do something wrong and to solve problems together with you. They say that “a friend in need is a friend indeed”. I think it is really so. A friend is someone whom you can call ten years after no calling at all and he or she will be gald to hear you. You probably already guessed that I want to tell you about my friend. Her name is Dasha. We became acquainted with each other at the entrance examinations. We chatted for a while, wished each other good luck and went. Two months later, I came back to Kurgan and settled in the dormitory. To my surprise, I saw a familiar face in the coridor. It was Dasha. We were so happy , that we met each other, because we didn’t know anybody there. We immediately went to the commandant and asked to share a room. She allowed us. That’s how our friendship began. Dasha is three years older than me. She is small and slim at the waist. She holds her body upright. She has long, abundant, dark, curly hair. Above her dark brown eyes lies a perfect set of full, well-marked eyebrows. She wears glasses, which suit her very well. Her rounded face sits atop her shoulders with a brilliant smile. Everybody calls her “a sun”. Her...

Memoir

...woke up to my alarm at 6:15 and clicked the snooze button until it was just about at seven in the morning .Always pushing myself to rush my morning. This morning instead of riding the bus like I usually did, I had convinced my father to drive me to school to drop me off along with my bike. A group of four friends and I planned on biking after school to my friend Joe’s house to stay the night, as well as a couple other things for the day. Before I had gotten down the stairs and to the truck my father had already thrown my bike in the trunk of our F-150. When we reached the school, I was grabbing my bag. While my father was pulling the bike out of the truck. My father walked me over to the bike rack, along with my bike and he chained it up for me. After that I told him I loved him. Just like what most people say to there parent before they leave. He left for work and I went about the usual last day of school the pointless saying goodbye to friends and teachers we would most likely not see during our summer. Signing every ones year books, the thing I never bothered to ask my dad to buy me. Sense it was the last day of school it was a half day. I would not be pointlessly stuck at school for a full day. School had just finally ended and it was still only eleven. It still hasn't even reached lunch yet. I had the whole day with my friends, I was excited. Joe told us he wanted to show us someplace cool. I walked over to the bike rack heading over to meet up with my four friends Joe, Jared...

My Friend Paula

...quickly became a sister bond. Paula’s gentle and fun nature made it easy for my entire family to adopt her as one of our big sisters. As Paula and I continued to be friends we have enjoyed many life impacting experiences. Our children were born around the same time and grew up together. When my son, who was bright, yet was failing in third grade; it was Paula who discovered that his challenges were due to dyslexia. Without charges, Paula tutored my son and the school year ended with him being the most improved student in his class. My children and I spent many weekends at the Parks, Zoo and other amusement venues with Paula and her family alone with many of her students over the years. She often spent her own money on clothes as well as school supplies for many of her students. There were times when food purchases were made for the families of these children. Most of these children were from disadvantaged situations and without her intervention most likely would never have enjoyed these experiences. I believe Paula’s acts of kindness, sharing and caring went beyond her duties and responsibilities as a teacher, and is the result of some of these children going on to becoming teachers and other responsible adults. Paula continues to hear from many of her students today who are adults with their own families.. Paula is one of the most caring and giving persons I know, not just because she is my friend, but because it’s one of her distinguishing character...

With My Friends in School

...illustrator 9. Nodding – illustrator 10. Waving hand With my friends in school I did not have to go far to witness the five gestures which are emblems, illustrators, regulators, adaptors and affect displays. I just have to hang around with my friends in school and already, I can witness the different kind of gestures because most of my friends have so much energy that they move and express themselves a lot that it is very easy to detect their gestures. To be specific, we were in the campus in our favourite hang-out place: Student Lounge (Room 1132) chatting, fooling around and telling stories each other funny stories and if there is nothing new, tell recycled funny stories. We also do serious stuff such as teaching each other about school topics that one of us is struggling. The most obvious gesture that I witnessed is laughing which is an affect display of emotion motivated by fun. Laugh conveyed fun and happiness and familiarity with the person we are with which is why we laugh a lot when we are together. I can no longer count the times that my friends laugh since everybody was telling silly stories and making fun of each other. The second gesture I saw was a cross arm coming one of my female friends that we were making fun of. Again, this is an affective display of emotion but this time, it was motivated by disgust and being defensive because my friends were making fun of her. I only noticed this once followed by with her hands...

My Best Friends

...My Best Friends A best friend is someone who you can trust, know the truth, and loves you. It’s hard now a day to find someone with those qualities. But I am a very lucky lady that I have not only one best friend but two, who I can talk to and rely on on any given day or time. Those two best friends of mine would have to be my sisters, Jasmine and Jamie. I can go to them for anything, give me the best advice and nothing better then sharing clothes with each other. Considering we all live in different towns and states we always make the time to catch up with what is happening with our personal lives. We all get along great, sometimes we have our ups and downs but we always put that past us. Jasmine is the mother figure. She is the oldest and considering herself as a mother with a four year old son, my godson, and a sixteen month old niece, she definitely makes sure my other sister and myself don’t make the wrong decisions and calls us at least once a week just to see how everything is. Jasmine always enjoys my company and our sleepovers. I know there is only one best friend that people say you can only have, but I don’t follow that at all. My other sister Jamie, the middle sibling is by far the stuck up one. But Jasmine and I know how to put up with her. I would have to call her more of a best friend because she will tell me whether something is good or not or if she likes or doesn’t like anything and she’s not the type of person to hid her feelings. Sometimes you rarely...

...We all have that one person we call our best friend. When we look for them we find things that you both have in common. For example, you both may have the same taste in music or like the same food. That is what brings you two so close, but as time goes by you find differences in each other. My best friend Glendy and me share some things in common for example, we love shopping, we are both Hispanic, and we have similar personalities. Although we have our similarities our style, tradition and attitudes are what makes us different. It is no secret that most girls love to go shopping. Glendy and me go shopping almost every week together, but even though we both love shopping we don’t always like the same clothing. Her style is more “girly” and...

My Friend Steve

...111 D. Sforza February 18, 2015 My friend Steve My story begins the day I was born. I grew up in South Beach projects and had many friends. I had one special friend named Steve. Steve and I grew up together. We enjoyed going to a place called Duffy’s Tavern. Sometimes our friend Dorinda would come with us also. We always sat in the booth which had a crooked table in the left hand corner. It was our favorite place to sit we called it our signature table. Through the years we moved from the booth to the tables and finally to the comfort of the bar. We enjoyed the music from the jukebox right next to us and the crowd would always greet us when we walked in. The wait staff was always so polite we never waited long for our meal. The meal was always fresh and hot. You always got a lot for your money when you went to Duffy’s. On November 30, 2012 Steve and I met for our annual Duffy’s dinner. Steve seemed strange as he wasn’t very talkative. Much of our conversation remained quiet until I asked him what was wrong. He broke down then and explained the problems he was having with his marriage and with his job. I was shocked. Why? Steve was always so happy. He had a great job, a beautiful loving wife, daughter and a beautiful home. Steve was living the American dream. To learn my friend the man I idolized had so many difficult problems in his marriage and at his job broke my heart. We made it through most of dinner...

My Faithful Friend

...ENGL 101 Essay #2-Illustration Summer 2011 My Faithful Friend The addiction to smoking cigarettes surmounts over the life of a smoker. What began as a meaningless childhood habit of doing something you’re not supposed to do, turned into an addiction that’s almost impossible to quit, and will probably be the nails that seal my coffin. As a child the addiction was actually not that of the actual cigarettes. My first memory of smoking was in fifth grade. I was at school with another boy out in a field beyond the playground lying in a ditch. I had brought the cigarettes and matches that I had lifted off my older brother. We each had smoked about half of the cigarette when the bell rang and we had to rush back. I was sitting in class and the teacher was pacing around my desk stating that she smelled smoke. I persistently denied smelling smoke and she eventually went back to teaching the class. I remember the feeling of almost getting caught--the excitement, the rush, almost like a high. At this point early in my addiction, I wasn’t addicted to the cigarettes but to the thrill of doing something wrong and getting away with it. As I grew older, my teens turned into twenties. I was old enough to legally smoke, and the “thrill” slowly faded into a physical addiction. The overwhelming feeling that I needed it set in. It calmed me, relaxed me, and comforted me. Everything I did, everywhere I went, I HAD to smoke. I would wake every morning to a cup of coffee...

My Best Friend

...My best Friend It is often said that a dog is a man’s best friend, and rightfully so. Not only do dogs possess all of the qualities we look for in a companion, but they also lack those qualities and habits that we often find irritating in our friends and family. Dogs are loyal, caring, and enthusiastic. They are not offended easily, rude or mean as people can often be. I believe that at some time in their life, everyone should experience the joy of owning a dog. A dog companion has all the same benefits as a human companion without the constant work and effort required for human interaction. They will listen to you for hours on end without a single argument or complaint, when you’re sad there’s no one better to lay with you while you cry, and when you want to exercise they will be more than happy to accompany you on a morning run or hike. In fact, in many instances I find that my dog gives me a reason to get out of the house, thus motivating me to work out. Dogs are always willing to go on an adventure with you, whether it be going to the lake for a day or walking down your driveway to get your mail. They are always more than happy to tag along with you, making your chores and daily outings a little more pleasant. When I’m having a rough day nothing lifts my spirits more than walking through my front door and seeing my dog, sitting and waiting patiently. I don’t know of anyone else who is more excited to see me on a daily basis. It is an instant self-esteem boost to...

A Complicated Relationship

...A Complicated Relationship Once, there was a shy girl who likes to play the guitar. Her name is Gelou. She is always alone. She doesn’t have many friends and if she has, she doesn’t hang out much with them. Every time she’s at school, she always sits on the bench, play a song and sing it with harmony. One day when she was walking at the porch, she bumped into a girl. “Where are looking?!” “I’m so sorry. I wasn’t paying attention,” she replied. “Oh, I’m sorry, too. My day is just bad. By the way, I’m Kelly,” the girl said. “Hi, Kelly. My name is Gelou. Nice meeting you.” “Okay, got to go. See you around. Bye!” “Bye!” That was the start of their friendship. Every lunch and recess, they will meet up and talk about many things. They talk about a lot of things about academics because Kelly is not the type who will scream for her idol or wear make-up just to be noticed by her crush. She’s kind of boyish. Not like Gelou. But even though they are different, they still got along just fine. Suddenly, some popular boys, which are their classmates, just bumped into them. As expected, Gelou wouldn’t say anything. But Kelly is different. “Hey! Watch where you’re going!” “Oh, miss. We’re sorry,” one of the boys said. “Next time, you guys should look where you’re going,” looks at Gelou “Let’s go!” The next day, Kelly didn’t go to school leaving Gelou alone. For the second time in her life. Again, she was sitting in her favorite bench, playing a smooth song in her...

A State of Trance

...music that alters a mix of electric dance and repeated lyrics and beats. Throughout my school years I managed to have many friends but ones who weren’t really setting me up for a good future. I would do things, such as homework and studies, at my own pace and school wasn’t my first priority. It was fall of 2009, when my cousin Jay, introduced me to the world of trance. I remember that very first song he had me listen to called “On a good day” by Oceanlab. After hearing it several times I almost felt as if I were able to escape from the world I was living and came to realize that it was almost my little piece of heaven. Trance makes me so relaxed and motivated when I listen to it. It was almost like a friend to me because the lyrics that came along with it were more insightful than the words that came out of my friend’s mouths I hung out with. At that point in my life I moved away from friends and moved in a better direction. Sports have been a huge part of my life. I played soccer and volleyball all throughout high school and I remember specifically these words from my volleyball coach Maggie Porada, “ We can tell you what to do and how to play but we can’t motivate you more than you can yourself.” I went home after that practice wondering if I really was my best motivator. Eventually these life-changing words faded away. I was getting ready for bed and as I lay under my covers I pop in my ear buds to allow myself some...
