...still jump with instructors but you'll have your own parachute and will be responsible for yourself under canopy. If skydiving is just something you want to do to check off of your life's todo list then I would suggest you go for a tandem jump. There is less information for you to learn and your personal responsibilities are less. If you know you want to skydive a lot, jumping with your own parachute then I would suggest that you go into a student training program such as Accelerated Free Fall. Either way, starting with a tandem jump isn't a bad idea. My second skydive was AFF Level 1. I did a tandem before that. Standing in the door, hanging outside of the airplane for the first time was intense to say the least. I was glad I'd made the tandem to have the experience of being in the door and outside of it before. Since I've never had a problem with being in the door or jumping out! Winter skydiving is fun! The weather is a little colder but the people that are at the drop zone are the ones that really want to be there to jump. I jump year round. Granted I don't jump as much during the winter months but if the planes are flying then so am I....

...To me, my favorite activity would have to be using the internet. I know it sounds kind of boring but it is my way of getting away for a little while each day. Three reasons why the internet is my favorite activity are it is relaxing, educational, and can be a lot of fun if you go to the right websites. For me, the internet can be a great way to unwind at the end of a stressful day. When I have a long and monotonous day, coming home and getting on the computer helps alleviate some of the burdens and stresses of the day. For instance, I’ll come home and check my email, and see who has bothered to send me anything. Next I’ll sign onto instant messenger so I can stay in contact with my family and friends. Maybe I am just weird but I love coming home every night and doing these two things. Secondly, using the internet can be very informative. For example, when I am doing my Spanish homework I would be lost without being able to get online and check certain translations and grammar points. It can also be very helpful if I am doing a report for a class. The internet has information for just about any topic that the teacher could possibly give out. Lastly, the internet can be very amusing. There are many fun things to do on the internet like play games, watch Youtube videos, or use one of the “Social Networking” sites such as Facebook and Myspace. The number of websites out there to play games on is very large. There are either sites where they require a payment for the games...

...MARYSVILLE SHORELINE I was looking at the twenty acre site it was like a ghost town. What should go there I thought to myself. In my opinion I think a Dave and Busters, Great Wolf Lodge, a riverwalk and a drive in movie theater should go on the site. It would be cool to have a river walk. I think it would be cool because some people like to walk along the water. River walks are cool because people can walk along the river. You can also go fishing. The riverwalk would go along the the river and you would be able to go on the old dock where boats used to come and fuel up. The riverwalk would go along the whole edge of the site.Another thing I would put there is a Dave and Busters. Dave...

Everyone deserves a chance at finding love; whether by dating the old-fashioned way or finding it through an internet dating site, love is fun and exciting. We ask the audience members to look at a situation between a mother and her daughter, their differences in age, and if the concerns of the daughter are reasonable. The authors ask the audience to think about how they would handle this situation if they were the mother or the daughter. If, after reading this script, you find that you relate to the mother and her interest in dating, then perhaps you can relate to the older generations and their desire to belong If however, you find that you relate more to the daughter, then you probably understand how the internet dating world works, and how the results of online dating can be both positive and negative. However the family lay divided on where they should spend their time vacationing. Our family has a limited time to take a vacation so it’s important for us to pick a great spot because no one wants to waste time on a vacation that is less than stellar. As a family we would like to enjoy the sun and the sites while keeping in mind each other’s personal preferences for fun. There are so many beautiful places to have fun but some have become increasingly more expensive to vacation at. As a family we have saved enough money to go on a vacation that does not total over 7,000. The family has saved for approximately two years for this vacation. Problem Statement Out immediate family includes my mom and Dad and two sisters and one brother. We all have different views on our idea of fun. My Parents don’t mind staying close by and having fun in a nearby state. However the siblings and I would rather spend time in some place further away so that we can enjoy summer weather and beaches. A variety of places have been thrown up in the air, but no decision has been made. It has been two years since any of us have been on a vacation. ...Something needs to be done about the media, and all the violence that is promoted, and being viewed by our youth all over the world. The media has no regard for our youth, and the influence they have on them. In my opinion, it is all about the money, and the ratings. There is a bigger issue out there besides both of those things. Our youth is being exposed to so much violence; they are becoming immune to it. Today, it is the norm for them. All media is to blame, but in my opinion, electronic media is the biggest culprit. The youth of today are being consumed by all types of electronic devices. Violence is big business in the media. No matter if it is Facebook, YouTube, music on an IPod, internet radio, MySpace, or any other of the sites on the internet or electronic devices, violence is present in some way or another. There are youth out there in society that are committing heinous violent acts, just for the fun of it. What I want to know is when did violence become fun? Kids listen to gangster rap, and believe everything they hear. (Dawursk Jr 2007) In 1994, two teenagers that murdered a police officer from Milwaukee, stated, they did it “just for the fun of it”, because they were influenced by “2Pacalypes Now”, a song by @ Pac Shakur. Then, visit the Jim Beam Web site http://www.jimbeam.com.au and identify which of your personal associations are reinforced and provide specific examples of this reinforcement. After leaving the site, write down any new personal associations you have with Jim Beam and how the site created these associations. The types of brand associations included in the brand equity framework include attributes, benefits and overall evaluation. The attributes connected with the Jim Bean brand in my view include the product related, where I feel the design is very original, the size is convenient, and the cans portray aesthetically pleasing colours. The non-product related attributes include the packaging, which with the new 10 block packs, is sleek and stylish, the price is among the current RTD range standards, and the user image includes simple, hard-working Aussie blokes. The other non-product attribute I associate Jim Bean with is the Jim Bean girls. The Jim Bean girls are always club hoping giving away free things and promoting a fun, sexy side to the alcoholic beverage. The benefits Jim Bean offers me personally is the alcoholic content, which works on the simple functional level of getting me drunk, the symbolic benefit of the beverage being one of my personal first drinks to drink on a regular basis when very young, and the taste now reminds me of good times and early party days. My overall attitude towards Jim Bean is the alcoholic beverage is aimed...

At bedtime his mother Henrietta Seuss, would softly chant the rhymes she remembered from the time she worked at her father’s bakery: “Apple, mince, lemon, peach, apricot, pineapple, blueberry, coconut, custard and SQUASH!” The second fun fact is though his passion was children’s literature, Seuss never had any biological children. When questioned upon not having his own children his reply was “you make them, I’ll amuze them.”. The third fun fact is the pen name we all know him by “Dr. Seuss” originally began as a way to escape punishment in college. In 1925 during prohibition era, Seuss and his fellow college mates were caught drinking in their dorm at Dartmouth. His punishment was set as the stripping of his editorship at the schools magazine “Jack-O-Lantern”. For the fourth fact, he joined the war effort, luckily for Seuss he was never drafted. By 1942 he was keen on joining the Navy but was convinced to make war propaganda films with Oscar winning director Frank Capra. He was strongly opposed to Adolf Hitler, which many of his cartoons reflected. For his service in the...
