My mommy- Lishea Bell 11/19/12

I want to tell you a story about the most important person in my life - my mother. She’s important to me because she has been taking care of me since the day the day I was born. I love her dearly even though we have disagreements. I know that she is only telling me what is right and what will benefit me for the future. Another reason she inspires me is her successful career. She’s a registered nurse at the East Cancer Care Center where she works with people dealing with cancer ALL day long. My mother provides care for her patients from 8am-5pm. She comes home and still has time to do whatever is needed for my brother and I. Once we are taken care of and put to bed which is usually at 9:00pm. She sits down to do homework until the early hours of the morning. She’s furthering her education by attending South University of Montgomery where she will eventually earn her master’s degree. She’s on track to finish by the summer of 2014. And she still has time to go out, and on vacation to have fun. My mother is a very beautiful person inside and out. She is willing to help others in their time of trouble and she is the type of person who isn’t afraid of what people say to her face or behind her back. She is a wonderful singer. My mother gave her life to Christ at an early age. We attend church regularly as a family every Sunday. She was baptized when she was 12 years of age. My mother was born on April 3, 1972 and she is now 40 years of age. In conclusion, I love my mother, and she is one of

You should have come to the cuckoo’s calling, Or when grapes are green in the cluster, Or, at least, when lithe swallows muster For their far off flying From summer dying. Why did you die when the lambs were cropping? You should have died at the apples’ dropping, When the grasshopper comes to trouble, And the wheat-fields are sodden stubble, And all winds go sighing For sweet things dying. Christina G.
