According to sources, Walton showrooms and outlets all over the country are experiencing growing turnout of customers ahead of Eid-ul-Azha. While visiting different markets, it was seen that mostly the customers are choosing local brand refrigerators, particularly Walton, Marcel, MyOne, etc. It is learnt that local brand refrigerators have recently created huge enthusiasm among local customers as some local companies including Walton are manufacturing world standard and high quality refrigerators that are being exported different countries across the globe. It was also seen that market of foreign brand refrigerators were witnessing dull trend due to low demands from customers and supply crunch. On condition of anonymity, one of the distributors of foreign refrigerators informed that there was no supply of foreign refrigerators for last two weeks. “We are not getting any positive response from the importers about the stop of supply,” he alleged. Stadium Market, the largest market of electronics and electrical products in the capital, it was found that some customers were choosing Walton brand refrigerators.
