Yes, undoubtedly Father Daniel Mary had established a future direction for the Carmelite Monks of
Wyoming. Father Daniel Mary has a vision of expanding the monastery and improving the coffee business. He wanted to enlarge the monastery by acquiring the Irma Lake ranch, where a Gothic church, retreat center, a convent for Carmelite nuns and a hermitage can be built. With the expansion of the monastery, it can have an increase size of 13 to 30 monks. In order for the vision to come true,
Father Daniel Mary need to collect $8.9 million to purchase the Irma Lake ranch. Father Daniel Mary believe that the fund from donations and the Mystic Monk Coffee operation can help fund the purchase of the ranch. It is possible for the Mystic Monk Coffee to make the vision become a reality, “turning the coffee into the land” (236).
