I am currently the secretary of the National Society Of Black Engineers Jr. Chapter of Wheaton high school. The mission of NSBE Jr. is to “Increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeeded professionally, and positively impact the community”. As a NSBE Jr. member I have participated in many volunteering events, one such event being organizing a “Feed the homeless shelter”. Every winter time, NSBE Jr. organizes a feed the homeless event where we shelter, prepare and serve food to the homeless, give away clothing donations and engage in conversation with the homeless. I also took part in “Relay for Life” under NSBE Jr. Relay for Life is a team fundraising event where team members take turns walking
