Web servers are used to run websites by turning HTML files into a HTTP connection these are a websites hardware which contains CPU, RAM, etc. if you did not have one of these for your website you will not have a website at all.
Browsers
A browser would be needed for your e-commerce site as you need it to access your website domain. Browsers are a GUI based interface that displaces HTML files and is used to navigate through various sites across the web. There are various browsers now a days but the main ones are Google chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer so it is compulsory to make these compatible.
Server Software

An example of IT being used to reduce costs is journalists using video phones to make quick reports. It saves the cost of camera crews, staff and their costs of travel.
Increased profit
Developments in technology have become more effective by being able to produce products with computerized bots, instead of being done by people. The advantages to this are that the quality of the products are much better and precise than they would be if they were man made, the more products are made and sold the profits increases.
Increased productivity
You could increase you productivity by using a number of automated bots within the in company support. For example the use of bots is good as they can be operational 24 hours a day. Using automated bots is a massive benefit as it is more effective and is easy for the company to calculate how much products the bots will create, how much it will cost to make and how long it will take to make them.
