Nancy Bauer believes we should have the capability of expressing our sexual feelings. The obectification of a sexual partner can be arousing in many senses. Additionally, individuals try to condemn and ignore these urges. A common argument regarding objectification is one should not treat a person like an object. One may argue that to treat a person as an object is ubdoubetly inhumane. Bauer believes that there is nothing disputable about this argument. One cannot make a justifiable argument that people are equilabent to things. Pornography shows a person using another person to satisfy their inclinations. Bauer argues that this is a way to recognize and respect the other person’s humanity. In actual life, sexual desires are typically disproved.
