INTRODUCTION
On-the-Job-Training or OJT is the simulation of work related activities conducted by business organizations. It is part of a college curriculum that aims to orient and train students their field endeavor. It will be gratifying for the student trainee to learn and experience all there is about work and work ethics.
Students should not take OJT for granted, because they are being observed by their supervisors in relation to attitude, ethics and work relationship. It is the training ground of students prior to actual employment. Oftentimes, employers will ask you the relevance of your training to your course and to the position you are applying for.
It will give you a sense of confidence that you can use when applying for a job after graduation and also help you to make career choices.
Students should realize the importance of OJT in their future career. Having a good performance during OJT is very important especially now that there's a tight competition towards job seekers and the high qualification of companies.

Significance of the Training
On the job training is part of a college curriculum that aims to train and orient students about the work and their future career. OJT provide student trainee a clear idea about the work they will do in their respective career. If the training supervisor sees that the student trainees good work habit and attitude he or she may hire the trainee as an employment of the company. Your background OJT experience is very important when applying for a job. Employers often ask about the OJT experience and how it is related to the job that you are applying for.

Time and Place
The student trainee undergo training at Gerry’s Grill restaurant and assign in dining area which take orders and serve foods are the priority. She completed 240 hours from May 11, 2013 to June 2, 2013.
Objectives of the Practicum/Training
This training aimed to develop the skills of the student through actual procedures of a specific job using the real tools and equipment to show her the reality about working. To ready for future employment.

Company Overview
Gerry's Grill has been making waves since it opened its doors to the dining public on February 14, 1997. If you are looking for a dining place to satisfy your food craving and to chill out with your family and friends then Gerry's Grill is the perfect place to go. Its menu fits right into any occasion and budget.
Dining at Gerry's Grill gives everyone a pleasurable experience. Diners are served with only the freshest food ranging from Filipino favorites - sisig, inihaw na pusit, crispy pata, tokwa't baboy, kare-kare to exotic cuisine and tastefully prepared beermates and pica-pica. The menu goes perfectly well with your favorite beverage; whether it is alcoholic or non-alcoholic.
Its founder, Gerry Apolinario, worked his passion for grilled foods and drinks. He yearned for a venue where both may be enjoyed amidst an atmosphere that is fun, fresh and wholesome. And although the original concept of the business was one where people could unwind with a drink or two, Gerry's Grill inadvertently became a family restaurant too. "Parents who frequented Gerry's Grill during weekdays began bringing their family to us especially on Sundays and then the rest of the week. Apparently, they liked our wide variety of food selection and the clean and fun motif", Mr. Apolinario enthuses. He goes on to say, "Most Gerry's Grill restaurants have undergone revolutions to respond to the ever growing needs of our customers. We also take pride in taking care of our people - one of our most valuable assets that is why we are committed to continuously improve our benefits and training program".

Gerry's Grill continues to reach out to anyone, anywhere. From its first restaurant located along Tomas Morato corner Eugenio Lopez avenue in Quezon City, Gerry's Grill has expanded with 47 branches (three of which are in the United States). New branches which have opened are: Manila Ocean Park, SM Naga, SM North Edsa, SM Baliwag, SM Rosales, Marquee Mall
Ayala Angeles, SM Manila, Malolos Bulacan,The District Mall Imus and one branch in US-Daly City.
Indeed, Gerry's Grill remains a favorite and well-loved place to dine-in among Filipinos here and abroad. So for great food and loads of fun, you'd still rather be at Gerry's.
