DENVER, April 1, 2015 – Kevin Vigil has worked with Conscious Alliance previously to create artwork in 2013 for several bands including: The Motet, The Magic Beans, and also Moustachio Bashio. Vigil stated, “its always an amazing feeling when you are making a work of art for Conscious Alliance because the whole time you are thinking ‘this is going to feed a lot of hungry people.’” Conscious Alliance intentionally partners with artists who have this mindset. This non-profit agency is dedicated to ending hunger domestically as well as providing education resources for at risk youth. Therefore, it is essential for us to work with likeminded inspired individuals who believe in same vision. “Art that feeds,” is the slogan of Conscious Alliance, and it rings true. The cultivation of the arts for the purpose of feeding hungry people just the kind of revolutionary idea that the world needs to create change. Be a part of that change and make sure to bring 20 non-perishable goods, or a suggested monetary donation to trade for one of Vigils beautiful and unique works of art. Compose Yourself Magazine is a publication dedicated the arts and non-profit it would be mutually beneficial to cover Conscious Alliance’s partnership with Kevin Vigil.

...Effects of Aging on Cognitive Development Dawn Menard Psych/640 September 7, 2015 Dr. Samantha Hickman Effects of Aging on Cognitive Development This news release is going to discuss and evaluate the effects of aging on cognitive development. It is also going to discuss how cognitive neuroscience and Alzheimer’s disease play a role in how memory declines with information processing and working memory. Aging and Cognitive Development Aging plays a role on cognitive development as people get older. As people get older, their cognitive ability does not enhance but they are able to learn new things over time. One test, the Weschler test, deals with verbal and performance intelligence. These tests are rapid tests but are often misguided. These tests focus on verbal and language skills and remain consistent for cognitive development for aging adults, however, when given reasoning or problem-solving tests, their skills tend to slow down and their cognitive thinking is not as quick. According to Anderson (2009, p. 404), “the importance of these declines in simple measures of cognitive capabilities can be easily manipulated”. Cognitive Neuroscience Cognitive neuroscience works with dedicating itself to studying cognition in the brain and how information is processed. According to Anderson (2009, p. 12), “cognitive neuroscience develops ways to help one process the neural basis of cognition”. The brain has more neurons during birth and infancy but as adults’ age...

Service Management Team From: Date: August 1, 2012 Re: Talking Points for Customer Inquires CC: Executive Leadership Team As you all know, ‘Game Wars – Journey to Mars’ is scheduled to release in November, 2012. Over the past two years, developers have been working day and night to create the latest edition to the series. On June 1, 2012 beta testing began and game reviewers began to share their findings with the public via a variety of social outlets creating a buzz in the gaming community. Ford Pinto Analysis

...three and a half years down to two. While testing the Pinto, it became apparent that due to the gas tank in the car was at great risk for fire hazard when struck from the rear, even at low speeds. The necessary improvements to make the Pinto safer were not complex or costly; they simply needed a barrier between the gas tank and the bumper of the car, which meant an added $5 to $8 to produce each car. To prevent the gas tank leaking during rollovers, another $11 would have to be spent on production. Ford was presented with a dilemma: to release the Pinto as scheduled and risk the safety of those who purchased it or spend more time designing the car, thereby seceding more of the subcompact auto market to the competition. After a cost-benefit analysis of the safety improvements and the potential death toll, Ford decided to release the model without the safety improvements. Their estimation showed that it was cheaper to ignore public safety. The release of the Pinto lead to an estimated 21 to 475 deaths that could have been prevented if the necessary safety features had been installed. Act utilitarianism is part of the utilitarian theory, one of the most widely accepted ethical...

Pop Culture

...Social Media i Pop Culture Eric Richardson English Composition Ashley Inguanta August 27, 2012 My absolute favorite musical album is D’Angelo’s album entitled Voodoo, released in 2000. As a musician and vocalist myself, I’d say that I’m usually a bit more critical of music projects than I would be of any other form of art. It’s usually an easy task for me to appreciate the creativity of other art forms because I don’t have any type of bias. With music, however, it has been my lifelong passion. Since I was a child, I’ve been a student and a fan. As a fan, I’ve always looked for an album that could hold my interest throughout the entire list of tracks. I think even the most casual listener wants the best album possible. I can’t imagine anyone would want to spend their hard earned money on a mediocre album, with only a few songs standing out as favorites. Unfortunately, this has likely been the case since the Eight Track Tape was phased out. There was no rewind or fast forward option, so the albums simply had to be good. It’s a lot harder found what I’d consider a good album, present day. In my opinion, a good album evokes just as much emotion as it does provoke those and give the desire to dance, particularly when speaking of R&B and Soul genres. By these standards, most albums fail. Most albums have one ore the other, but very seldom have all of these characteristics. D’Angelo’s Voodoo was a progressive work that had a retro feel. I think what...

Self Leadership

...2014 GOAL #1 One goal of mines is to release my digital retail album within the next year. I have released over 10 independently in the last 6 years. This one is different, however because it will be available for digital retail only online. It will not be a version available for free download stream and buy only, the others at some point involved a free download. The success of the project will be dependent upon the right marketing and promotion efforts. This means connecting with current fans and reaching as many new fans as possible. Development Continuum 1. What is your level of development for this goal (D1-4)? Explain. As of right now a lot of the album has been recorded. As of now I would say 60 to 70 % of the album has been recorded. As far as promotion, no official announcement or release date has been set yet. There is still a lot if mixing left to do as well as features from other artist to be added to the project. However, the recording and mixing is only the beginning. I would say the project is at the D3 stage, which is described as capable but cautious. This issue is not that the commitment or that the capability isn’t there but you have to be cautious to release the project at the right time. I have to make sure as many people as possible are aware and excited about the release of the project. 2. What do you need in terms of the direction and support needed to complete...

...getting to know the welsh crowd, bursting straight into ‘Way Away’, the song is a catchy punk tune, which has an addition of electric violin adding an element of uniqueness. Lead Singer ‘Ryan Key’ informs the welsh crowd that they are here to play as much music as possible, performing a mixture of tracks from all three previous albums and some new songs from their upcoming album. The bands next single ‘hang you up’ could easily set the band up for mainstream success, with its acoustic built track it really is hard not to get stuck into this song. The crowd come together and appreciate Yellowcard’s last single ‘For you and your denial’ which goes down a storm with the crowd. Not forgetting older material, Yellowcard perform some of their better known songs from their 2006 release including ‘Lights and Sound’ and ‘Rough Landing, Holly’. For a band that has been out of the picture for two years, Yellowcard have a set that is completely flawless. Concluding their performance with their 2002 breakthrough hit ‘Ocean Avenue’, the song receives rightful recognition and even gets the young attendance singing along. With the release of their new album on March 21st, this year seems to be the year where Yellowcard will make their name dominate in the music industry once...

Fantasia

...Isis McCullough RIM 3780 Professor Keel November 22, 2010 Fantasia Three long years have elapse since Fantasia Barrino released a new album. “Back To Me” is her third album, and I must say this album is a hit. This album went back to what’s missing in the R&B world such as great melody, meaningful lyrics, and soulful singing. The first single, “Bittersweet” is talking about being in love with someone can be pleasant, but then it can be sour. “You know sometimes you have to put yourself first” are the first words you hear when you listen to this album. “I’m Doing Me” is the second single off the album that has raised to the No. 16 spot on Billboards’ R&B/Hip-Hop chart. This album has 12 tracks that you can take pleasure in listening to. It’s not following the music trend that a pretty face and a nice body will sell your album. Fantasia is a beautiful person inside and out, but her realness and angelic voice should be enough to sell this album. Fantasia has proven herself on this album by singing songs that we all have heard before. You can feel that her heart is in every track on this album. She is in the league with the other R&B divas such as Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige, India Arie, Jill Scott, and Joss Stone. Fantasia recruited some of the hit makers to work with her on this album. Claude Kelly, Rico Love, Cee-lo Green, and Ne-Yo who wrote Beyonce’s hit, “To The Left,” another all time ladies anthem. “Man Of The House,” “I’m Here” and “Who’s Been...

They developed the first programming language for PCS and begin an extraordinary, history making journey that led to the creation of the world’s largest and most profitable software company, Microsoft Corporation. In part due to the nature of the products offered (operating systems and software that is constantly evolving and being updated), and by being the world’s largest software manufacturer, Microsoft has the need to regularly communicate to its internal and external publics on a constant basis. Microsoft Corporation utilizes various different types of communication methods, the World Wide Web, being one of the most commonly utilized tools to communicate to the vast, worldwide residing Microsoft family of product users, stockholders, or just simple people who like to be informed about the “software giant.” Microsoft Corporation is very effective with its communication via internet press/news releases because they are always providing the publics with prompt, up-to-date, pertinent, and useful, information, to respond or communicate any issues or circumstances of various natures that Microsoft...

The game was set to be released on the upcoming Holiday where in consumers are known to be spending a lot of money buying stuffs for children like gaming consoles and video games.
