Grade 11 World: A Kansas man named Adam Purinton open fires and shoots an Indian after yelling, “get out of my country” and injures two others. On Thursday, Purinton was charged with murder and attempt to murder. A bartender at Austin’s Bar and Grill in Olathe said that Purinton used racial slurs before he started shooting on Wednesday night, displaying that he was racially motivated. Canada: The parents of a fifteen-year-old boy named Alexandru Radita have been found guilty of first-degree murder in their son’s death. Alexandru weighed thirty-seven pounds when he died in 2003 due to untreated diabetes and starvation. His parents, Emil Radita and Rodica Radita isolated Alex from anyone who could monitor his insulin treatment and they refused to provide him with proper medical care even though they were well aware of his ill state, which resulted in his death.
