As the NFL’s official training camp begins this August, reports have been swirling that Philadelphia Eagles newly-recruited quarterback Tim Tebow is “quickly climbing the depth chart and could steal a spot on the final roster,” as per the Inquisitr.

It seems like Tebow’s knack for Chip Kelly’s offense is getting more and more evident as training deepens, making him a solid candidate for the Eagles’ third quarterback spot over Matt Barkley. Rumors have also abound that he may well be the primary backup of Mark Sanchez if ever starting signal caller Sam Bradford would still not be fully healed when regular season starts in September.

Coach Kelly’s recent comments about the 27-year-old former Florida standout have been complimentary and positive. …show more content…
Even with the reports that Tebow is almost sure of a roster spot in Philadelphia, his critics, or “haters”, continue to pan his throwing mechanics and overall skills as a playmaker. Some have even badmouthed not only his game, but his personal life as well. It is truly bizarre that an average NFL player competing for a third QB spot would attract a lot of flak and attention from fans and the media.

Breitbart’s Daniel Leberfeld conjectured that it could be Tebow’s religious beliefs that is making him the target of public disapprovals.

Leberfield even mentioned that former Denver Broncos quarterback Jake Plummer said that “he would like Tebow more if he would ‘shut up’ about his faith in Jesus Christ.” The article went on to claim that Tebow’s “haters” does not hate his “throwing motion or his completion percentage” but his open admission of faith and his “goody-two shoes image.”

Whether Leberfield is right or not, the fans should look objectively at Tebow’s progress when talking about his chance for a spot in Kelly’s

...Assignment 2 – Final Project 1. Please explain the similarities and differences between the framework of the Leadership Challenge (A1) and How NASA Builds TEAMS (A2)? Please use as example the Case Study: New England PATRIOTS: Making the Team. Use your creativity. Model the way is the first of the five practices of exemplary leadership. In this practice, a leader needs to ensure that their audience understands and believes in something strongly. Leaders are expected to speak on and stand for matters of conscience and value to the organization. In order to do this, a leader needs to Find Their Voice. In other words, the leader needs to discover what they are passionate about. This practice is analogues to the Express Authentic Appreciation behavior in NASA’s 4-D team building methodology. In order to be able to express authentic appreciation towards their audience, a leader needs to be in tune with what drives the members of his audience. Listening to the audience, asking clarifying questions, and expressing expectations can accomplish this. The second subcomponent of model the way is Affirm Shared Values. This subcomponent is vital to the success of any team, group, or organization because as individuals, we each have different motivators, but if we share core values then building quality relationships can be accomplished. Address Shared Values is the 4-D behavior that when practiced aids in building strong and genuine relationships, which is a fundamental element...

DINGMAN | | BUS 508 | 2012 | A short analysis of the entrepreneurial approaches of Samuel Walton and Christopher Zorich | Profit oriented entrepreneurial approaches of Samuel Moore Walton. Sam Walton, the man Samuel Moore Walton, the founder of Wal-Mart, was archetypal leader with some level of consistencies in his lifetime that stayed with him until his death. Sam was a servant-leader who listened quietly to the customers and sought to please them. He believed in hard work, worked hard and had fun doing it. His leadership style If ever there was a true born leader, Samuel Walton was one. Sam, as he was popularly called, was born the first child of his parents, Thomas and Nancy Walton on March 29, 1918. By virtue of his birth, he took some amount of responsibility for his only sibling, J.L. "Bud" Walton. Maybe, this helped him in developing very strong leadership skills early in life. Sam attended Hickman High School in Columbia, Missouri where he served as class president. He played football in the school’s team which had no defeats as long as Sam was the quarterback. Sam attended the University of Missouri at Columbia where he got a degree in business and he was about to commence graduate studies in insurance when he decided for engagement in retail business. I personally believe that Sam deduced from his exposure to business studies that he had some of the qualities that success in...

Nfl Concussion Litigation

...into one large case of Multidistrict Litigation. All of the lawsuits that have been filed claim “tortious conduct” on the part of the NFL, resulting in neuro-degenerative disease and injury to professional football players. As of January 24, 2013, over 4,500 retired NFL players, more than one-third of players to ever sign an NFL contract, had brought a suit against the NFL concerning the head injuries that they sustained on the field during their playing careers. (Anderson, 1). Given the outstanding popularity of football in the United States, these lawsuits have garnered the attention of national media, prompting debate, discussion, and research about the dangers of football-related head injuries and the future of the NFL. (Fenno, 1). The litigation has the potential to reach the scale of the Big Tobacco litigation of the 1990’s, but the NFL has thrown a substantial roadblock in the players’ suit with a federal employment law preemption defense. (Fisher, 1). The consolidation of all the lawsuits into the Multidistrict Litigation has created the ability for both parties to decide the legal issues presented by the players’ claims and the NFL’s defenses. This paper will examine the merits of those claims and defenses, offer insight into how the players applied rhetorical devices to further their case, address the link established between the NFL and Big Tobacco, and how the court could likely rule regarding the concussion litigation, if it makes it to court. To begin, the history...

Customer Loyalty in Uber India.

...CHAPTER 1 INTRODUCTION 1.1 INTRODUCTION Customer loyalty is both an attitudinal and behavioral tendency to favor one brand over all others, whether due to satisfaction with the product or service, its convenience or performance, or simply familiarity and comfort with the brand.  Customer loyalty encourages consumers to shop more consistently, spend a greater share of wallet, and feel positive about a shopping experience, helping attract consumers to familiar brands in the face of a competitive environment. Types of Loyalty To understand customer loyalty one must recognize there are different types and degrees of loyalty.  There is monogamous loyalty and there is polygamous.  There are also behavioral and attitudinal aspects.  A look at these concepts will clarify what “customer loyalty” really is, and this is important because having a solid understanding of the concept is critical if one hopes to design a reward program where loyalty enhancement is the primary objective. Monogamous vs. Polygamous Loyalty We live in a world of polygamous, not monogamous loyalty.  For example, a person might shop at Safeway, Thrifty Foods and Save-on-Foods and unfailingly shop at all three.  The person is then loyal to them, but not to others, and yet 100% loyal to none.  In their book Loyalty Myths, Keiningham et al. (2005) suggest that “loyalty can in part be thought of as the probability a customer will purchase a brand on any particular purchase occasion.  For example, a customer...
