Forever 21 a Global Company
The global retailer that I have chosen is Forever 21 because they are a well-known retailer. Forever 21 is a well-known chain store and mostly targets young teenage to college age women. The store was founded in Los Angeles, California in 1984 by Do Won Chang and his wife Jin Sook Chang. The first fast fashion store opened in April 21 in 1984 and has grown nationally and globally since then. The market for Forever 21 has grown drastically within the past couple of years and they have ventured from just women and men’s clothes. Forever 21 carries a very wide assortment of merchandise and now caters to children and plus size women. The fashions of Forever 21 have a lower price point than most other chain stores so the fact that they are affordable items to attain and manufacturing is cheaper it is easier to expand their stores across the globe. Forever reaches its audience mobile all across the glove via the Forever 21 app because the CRM enables the brand to research their consumers by knowing their demographics and what they like and catering to the consumer and allowing interactions with the brand to be easier. “We’re looking to scale our online and mobile business faster, drive more return on ad spend and increase revenue through paid channels. Sociomantic and AdX are helping us accomplish these goals.”( Gerard Florendo) Forever 21’s consumers is very technology savvy and looks convenience so I think this approach works well for them along with other brands. Forever 21 have identified their consumer from all across the globe and cater to them very well. So creating a market plan for this company will only outline the goals which the companies are trying to research successfully within an appropriate time frame and it will also explain how Forever 21 plans to continue their growth and what direction they are headed in.

That Night

...Before Graduation | Descriptive essay | | Adrian | 1/29/2012 | | Midnight had struck as my friend Niki and I were walking on Apple Street. By this time the rain had been on its way, leaving the air with a warm and humid touch. A feeling of excitement entered my ears as I heard the faint of sound of music and laughter. I found myself walking at a faster pace along this dark, winding road. Not exactly sure what to expect for the night, I could only hope that it would lead to being something to remember forever. Upon arriving to the farm, I was in astonishment, almost like confusion. It seemed like everyone I had attended high school with was there. It was a sight I will never forget; it resembled a scene from a movie or a TV show. There were hundreds of kids just enjoying themselves at a crazy and wild party. As I proceeded to walk toward the voluptuous crowd of dancing and music, Niki said, “Time to get trashed”. With complete confusion, I turned to my left only to see her mixing some concoction. The smell of alcohol had always turned my stomach inside out, but for some reason on this night when she asked me if I would like some I said yes. With my first sip, I was immediately turned off. The taste was horrendously out of this world and on top of that it burned. Instantly, I gave the drink back to her along with a slew of complaints. “Ewwww Niki. That’s horrible. How on earth can you ever drink something like that?” She replied with a great laugh. “Oh Adrian...

...lives so much easier. For example entertainment is a whole new ballgame. An author states that “the entertainment media has progressed because of advancements in technology. Movies, songs, and games are just a few clicks away”(Oak). This quote shows that technology is booming and we have come so far. Another way that it makes our lives easier is that communication is simpler. Oak (2014) suggests that cell phones are widened and more convenient for long distance and mobile use. Letters are no longer modern and text messages and emails are the simplest means of communication (Oak). This quote tells us that technology has made communication more modern, thus, making our lives easier. Technology has also created jobs for people. Author Niki Denison said explained that in 1991 the fall of the Soviet Union left many people without jobs and how tens of thousands of people are making a living by selling cell phone minutes on the streets to people who can’t afford it (Denison). This shows that people can now make a living solely off of technology being such a big deal. This author also says that “job creation in the mobile industry has been second to none. From people making a living by using cell phones to selling cars on the street to large corporations creating jobs for cell phone engineers” (Denison)....
