Ninh Binh Landscape in the blockbuster Kong: Skull Island
Trang An, Tam Coc – Bich Dong and Van Long are Ninh Binh’s three famous tourist destinations where are appeared in the latest blockbuster movie “Kong: Skull Island” that will be debuted in 2017.
In the afternoon of February, 26th, the filmmakers moved to Ninh Binh and start their two working weeks here, from February 27th to March 15th. The first filming location is Trang An scenic spot, far 7km from the west direction of Trang An Avenue alongside of the central of Ninh Binh and far 96 km south of Hanoi.
Many place here are rank as special national relics by the government, named as Trang An ecotourism destinations, Tam Coc – Bich Dong zone, Hoa Lu ancient capital,etc.
The selected background includes a two-hectare valley belonging Trang An landscape complex (between Tam Coc – Bich Dong and Trang An marina zone).
To go to Sunny Valley, tourists had to go by boat about 3 km. From Thach Bich wharf, in the vast space of the valley, tourists will feel like being immersed themselves in the nature, and enjoy the fresh and very quiet atmosphere here.
Trang An landscape complex is a general tourism place including many cultural and natural heritages which are considered as world's first mixed Vietnam by UNESCO in 2014.
Known as another famous name “Halong bay on land”, Tam Coc – Bich Dong is also a national key tourist destination of Vietnam. The whole region composes of system of limestone caves and mountains and historical sites related to the provision of Vu Lam Tran Dynasty, located in Ninh Hai Commune, Hoa Lu.
From February 27th to March 7th, the filmmakers will film the first scene at Trang An and keep their working at Tam Coc – Bich Dong. From 9th to 15th of March, they will do the work at Van Long wallow. This is not only a normal tourism destination but also a largest nature reserve wetland in the delta northern. Located in northeast of Gia Vien district, it dress own itself a charming beauty. It water color is blue and clean, giving a clearly eye-catching moss carpet in the bottom. Besides, it is covered by the majestic limestone mountains which are largely eroded by water into the virtual cave system.
According a reliable source, the board of managers of Trang An and Van Long wallow will arrange others sightseeing routes to not impact to the filmmaking process in their working days here.
