Firstly, I am terribly sorry for this matter to have taken up your time.

This is Lin shiyue, and my student number is 4463432.

I had received the information that I have an academic misconduct in MGMT316 final examination on 14th November. At the end, the exam team tells me that I had communicated with other student during the MGMT316 exam.

However, I do not agree. I am pretty sure I did not speak any words during the whole exam. I do not know what does the exam supervisor see. And I think that I need to fill your in what happened and state the whole accident thus and so.

When I finished the exam, I prepared to hand in my paper, and then I back in the seat to look around, my goal is to find the teacher to hand in the exam paper. And I had eye contact with supervisor as I intended to submit my exam paper, and I am sure this supervisor had seen me. However at the same time, I realized just have ten minutes left. So I turn back. Later, when I backed the seat again and waiting for hand in paper, the supervisor come and taken my student ID.

I am depressed when I received this information, and I questioned why she said I had communicated with other student. Thus I want to provide some supporting information to evaluate I am telling the truth.

At first, obviously, space between table and table is narrow, when I back in the seat; my back is extremely close to the table behind me.

Second, when I had eye contact with supervisor, she stand at over 1 section place, while she is not sure she had seen clearly.
Thirdly, actually, this MGMT316 final exam content 50% calculation and 50% multiple choice. If possible, can I apply to the FIC for comparing my answer sheet of calculation?

Finally, I do not have any good evidence to prove I am honest with your all the time. If possible, I think camera would record the whole process.

I am not a bad student that just wants to get “Pass” grade, I have attended all the lecture and tutorial class and finished my homework on time. Additionally, I have get good grades in previous exams. (The exam result has attached), I am really hard working to learn this subject.

On the other hand, this subject just can be enrolled in spring session, if this subject failed, it will affect my graduation, I would graduation in July 2014.

I am international student, I am pleasure can study in this school, though it is very difficult for me to stay here. Because international students in universities have high tuition, it is difficult for common home to afford the tuition fee, thus I do the part-time job to afford my living expenses every weekend.

Please make sure that appropriate measure is taken to solve the problem.

I would cooperate with the investigations.

I am asking the Faculty Investigation Committee (FIC) to run a full and fair process that treat this matter fairly.
