Overview: This process was developed to assure customers access to all accessories carried by the retail store. Direct ship is used for product where movement is very low and sales would not warrant supporting retail (i.e specific battery covers, specific batteries). Also, high dollar product should be supported via this channel. All stores using the iRMS should follow this process to process a direct ship order for any accessory that is not in stock or when a customer wants accessories shipped to their home or office.

...ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE’S INFLUENCE ON WORK LIFE BALANCE This report was authored by Xeniya Kurmayeva 4307458, Marsel Kurmayev 3539829, Mais Zainalabidin 4140060, Saleem Rabbani 4531596 & Hesham Mubarak 4446902 Prepared for Dr. Mona Mustafa & Dr. Payyazhi Jayashree for TBS 903 Submitted on the 29th of April 2014 Executive Summary In organizations as well as at home, work life balance is becoming a very important issue. As such, the premise behind our research was to examine whether or not a link exists between organizational culture and work life balance. In essence, we were looking to see if organizational culture affected work life balance. Moreover, research on this relationship is limited and it was difficult to find previous literature on the subject. We considered an UAE based bus assembly firm named Hafilat to test our hypothesis that work life balance could be affected by organizational culture. Our findings supported the argument that organizational culture can affect a firm’s provision of work life balance. It was only because of Hafilat’s empathic and internally centric organization culture, along with their flexible organizational structure that allowed them to provide work life balance opportunities to their employees. Furthermore, the top-down approach to work life balance has allowed Hafilat to implement a unique yet effective work life balance initiative. Their use of an unofficial work life balance policy was unorthodox and proved...

Behind its apparent simplicity, this algorithm is highly demanding in terms of computation time. In the last decades, several approaches [4, 5] have been proposed with one common goal: to reduce the computation time. These methods generally seek to reduce the number of distances that have to be computed using, for instance, a pre-arrangement of the data. The direct consequence is a speed-up of the searching process. However, in spite of this improvement, the computation time required by the kNN search still remains the bottleneck of methods based on kNN. General-purpose computing on graphics processing units (GPGPU) is the technique of using a Graphics processing unit (GPU) to perform the computations usually handled by the CPU. The key idea is to use the parallel computing power of the GPU to achieve significant speed-ups. Numerous recent publications use the GPU programming to speed-up their methods [6, 7]. In a previous work [8], we...

...Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules.[1] It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Gamessince 1964. A scene of Volleyball play in Ervadi village. The complete rules are extensive. But simply, play proceeds as follows: a player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court. The receiving team must not let the ball be grounded within their court. The team may touch the ball up to 3 times but individual players may not touch the ball twice consecutively. Typically, the first two touches are used to set up for an attack, an attempt to direct the ball back over the net in such a way that the serving team is unable to prevent it from being grounded in their court. The rally continues, with each team allowed as many as three consecutive touches, until either (1): a team makes a kill, grounding the ball on the opponent's court and winning the rally; or (2): a team commits a fault and loses the rally. The team that wins the rally is awarded a point, and serves the ball to start the next rally. A few of the most common faults include: * causing the ball to touch the ground outside the opponents' court or without first passing over the net; ...

Website Publishing Process

...gives you the domain name. But publishing a site after writing the HTML code for your site, and creating your site from scratch is different, and requires the web designer to do his homework and gives you many more options. You have the option to register your own domain name and use that name when you register with a web host and upload your file with all your web pages. You also need to look at all the web hosting options, which vary by what you want to have as a web host. There are many free web hosting sites to choose from, which can be a good starting and learning choice for a new web designer, just to get the feel and learn how to upload and manage a website on a web host server. These free servers normally only offer you a limited amount of space and options and domain names, and usually require your website to have an add for their web hosting site, or adds from their sponsors. Other websites can vary in price from an average of $1.99 a month to $19.99 per month, depending on what options you want like amount of size you can use for your website, how many domain names you can use on your web host server. Once you choose your web host and upload your website, it is also a good idea to register your domain names with as many search engines as possible, along with monitoring the traffic on your website, like which search engines are bringing the most traffic and which keywords they are using in their description so you can constantly modify your website to get the...
