...Apple shows leadership in the mobile phone market The iPhone 5 has been hitting record sales and endorsement by consumers. With 2million preorders in the first 24 hours the iPhone 5 just about doubles advanced sales of the previous model. Although none of these upgrades were groundbreaking, they were just enough for able to maintain dominance and surgency leadership in the mobile industry. Although apple is sensitive to the consumers wants regarding the iphone 5, they also paid attention to what the phone needs in order to be successful and balanced the two resulting in an agreeableness in leadership. The new iPhone 5 is made of aluminum and glass with a high performance processer, retina display and much more. Apple has shown quality in all of their phones but none other like the iPhone 5. Not to mention quality of the easy to use interface and operating system that fans know and love. This provides conscientiousness and dependability in the iPhone 5. Apple has provided adjustment in its level of stability and willingness to restructure the iPhone in order to catch up with android and join the 4G LTE data network providing consumers with faster data speeds. ...years old the political issues mentioned seem timeless. There are two episodes that in my opinion describe what British people think about the EU. I’m going to show you this clip from the episode The writing on the wall: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=37iHSwA1SwE In this clip that went viral around the time Brexit happened, Sir Humphrey Appleby explains to Jim Hacker that the reason the UK joined the EU (or what was at that time European Economic Community) was to destroy it from inside. The clip further explains that Britain was eager to bring more countries to join the EU but only to make them quarrel between themselves/to encourage disagreements between them and by that make the EU become weaker. It shows what could have been the reason the UK actually joined the EU in the first place and how British people actually view the EU....

...plane. They discover a large pink and cream-colored conch shell, which Piggy realizes could be used as a kind of makeshift trumpet. He convinces Ralph to blow through the shell to find the other boys. Summoned by the blast of sound from the shell, boys start to straggle onto the beach. The oldest among them are around twelve; the youngest are around six. Among the group is a boys’ choir, dressed in black gowns and led by an older boy named Jack. They march to the beach in two parallel lines, and Jack snaps at them to stand at attention. The boys taunt Piggy and mock his appearance and nickname. The boys decide to elect a leader. The choirboys vote for Jack, but all the other boys vote for Ralph. Ralph wins the vote, although Jack clearly wants the position. To placate Jack, Ralph asks the choir to serve as the hunters for the band of boys and asks Jack to lead them. Mindful of the need to explore their new environment, Ralph chooses Jack and a choir member named Simon to explore the island, ignoring Piggy’s whining requests to be picked. The three explorers leave the meeting place and set off across the island. The prospect of exploring the island exhilarates the boys,...

...you be accepted to hold a staff position? Why are you applying? What makes you qualified? Be specific. I have been staff on many Minecraft Pocket Eddition servers even ones with about 100-200 players and have been asked many questions and able to help many of the players asking. I have also helped with my friend's server on pc eddition he only had like 5-10 players online but I helped them all and was often the only staff on. Everyone said I was the best and that I deserved many promotions. I also want to help this server become hacker/cheater free. I know many players say it and it will probably never happen but I want to minimize the numbers and do my part. I also want to expand the number of players on the server by advertising the IP and telling people how awesome your games are. I have already got 2 people to join the server and they think it is a really cool server. I also know the rules fairly well and can serve the correct punishments for those players whether it's a ban or just a simple warning. I can also easily tell apart hacking from skill from all my pvp experience and bow practice....

Mercy: Who still uses the MiNet anymore, that’s such the Bounded thing? Zeke: Well if I were you I’d come look at this! Mercy: (with attitude she walks over to Zeke’s MiScreen) What is it? What’s so important that needs my attention this instant? (gasps) That’s not, no it’s not, FAITH! Zeke: Told ya. Mercy: But why, why would she sell her story to the press? She can’t. I just can’t believe her. I’ve worked so hard to get her to come here and she just let’s herself get pulled farther in. Zeke: Well c’mon Mercy I told you everyone would want the latest dish on the offspring of one of the world’s famous bumps and since you’re off the grid in the bounded she’s all they have left. Mercy: Well there is no reason why that baby should be born into those chains of society. She needs to get out and NOW! ...It is actually unlikely that Europe will continue to bail out Greece. Even if it wanted to many of its members are doing very poorly as well. Italy’s debt to GDP is well above 100% (at least 120) and Ireland and Portugal are almost at 100% themselves. Spain has an unemployment rate of 23% and 49% in youth. (Bloomburg.com) Even their best economies Like Germany only have an 85% Dept. to GDP ratio. (And to put that in perspective, the US has massive debts and its debt to GDP ratio is only 60%.) Currently Germany has given 6.5% of its GDP to various bailout packages just to see the Greek economy suffer further. Germany and France gave a combination of 240billion euros totaling to a grand 320billion euros. Considering that Germany’s debt to GDP is exceeding 85%, every percent increase hurts. Even if they were not doing poorly, let me explain why they would hesitate to give to Greece And I wouldn’t blame them for not hesitating to give to much money to them. Even if their economy was doing well, this circle of debt is not even mentioning the shady accounting they were doing before the crisis came to light, or the fact that most of the money that is being given to them is going back to the people it owes debts to. Why would they give money to Greece if they are not even benefiting from it. Greece and the Netherlands would actually have kept growing if it were not for the transferring to the euro. (We know this because Sweden and Switzerland continue their growth on...

...Hello everyone – how's everybody doing today? I'm glad you all could join us here. It’s your first day in this new school, Jinan University, a bland new school for everyone who is sitting here. So it's understandable if you're a little nervous. I imagine there are some seniors out there who are feeling pretty good right now, with just one more years to go. And no matter what grade you're in, some of you are probably wishing it were still summer, and you could've stayed in bed just a little longer this morning. So I know some of you are still adjusting to being back at school. But I'm here today because I have something important to discuss with you. I'm here because I want to talk with you about your education and what's expected of all of you in this new school year. But at the end of the day, we can have the most dedicated teachers, the most supportive parents, and one of the best schools in the world – and none of it will matter unless all of you fulfill your responsibilities. Unless you show up to the class; pay attention to those teachers; listen to your parents, grandparents and other adults; and put in the hard work it takes to succeed. And that's what I want to focus on today: the responsibility each of you has for your education. Every single one of you has something you're good at. Every single one of you has something to offer. And you have a responsibility to yourself to discover what that is. That's the opportunity an education can provide. We, the school...

...to join the workforce alongside men, another issue came to the forefront. That issue being a gender wage gap. Women noticeably get paid only 77 percent of what men get paid for doing the same exact job. A plethora of steps need to be taken and enforced before the workforce as a whole takes action towards an equal gender wage. Pay equity is not something women have been totally deprived of. What women have received under the means of "equity" are slim to none and compared to the possibilities, it is not at all acceptable. Women are constantly fighting for equality as opposed to men because unlike the men, the women are put into and presented unfortunate situations. "Pink collar jobs" are what women are subjected to in the workforce. That very same subjection is what affects and deducts their pay. While it is overpoweringly domestic and of service, women who work in the service industry are paid very little by men who believe they should be performing the tasks of their said "job" for free in the comfort of their own home. There are many loopholes in consideration of how women are paid. Especially the "Motherhood Penalty" which literally means that a woman's pay can be cut simply because she is a mother to a child. Being penalized for a natural occurrence that typically can't be controlled once the deed is done is unethical. Most policies and penalties that are amongst the workforce are irrational. There has been some progress with pay equity which is better than none. Women...

Why out of everyone, me? This is one of the most generic answers, I imagine, to a staff application. But I know the server's rules like the back of my hand. I am on almost if not every day for multiple hours of the day. Don't let my age trick you. I know the server better than most, and I love the community. I love helping people. ...next 300 years, 90% of all Native American original population was either wiped out by disease, famine, or warfare imported by the whites. By 1840 all the eastern tribes had been subdued, annihilated or forcibly removed to Indian Territory west of the Mississippi (Cherokee By Blood; Trail of Tears, 2003). My name is Adsila, and this is my story. The year is 1839, but just barely. It is the second week of the New Year and cold here in Kentucky. We were all forced to leave our homelands in North Carolina and travel, mainly by foot, to the state of Oklahoma. Some of the elders, the sick and the young, have been permitted to ride in the wagons. Many have died from sickness, and I fear that most of the rest of us will not make it on the rest of this journey, which is only about half over with now (Cherokee North Carolina; Trail of Tears, 2010). Being that I am young, only 12 summers old, I do not understand why we have been forced to leave the lands of our birth. From things that I have heard the elders say, most of the reason we were forced to leave was because of the yellow rocks. The white man wants these rocks, because these rocks bring them money (Cherokee North Carolina; Trail of Tears, 2010) Money that they spend on our lands! The white man has brought nothing but trouble since they first stepped onto our lands. The have brought many sicknesses upon us and killed many of my people! My journey started on a day when the flowers were blooming in the forests. It...

...Leper is disinterested in playing this game and does not want to get involved. Gene spots Leper and is about to pass the ball but “Leper [looks] up in anguish, [shrinks] away from the ball, and [voices] his first thought, a typical one. “I don’t want it!” (39). Because he “shrinks” away from the ball, Leper implies that he is scared of it, like how a little child would shrink away from a parent who is chastising them. His “typical” reaction implies that Leper often does not enjoy being included in games similar to blitzball. Even a small game that imitates war scares Leper and he does not want any part in it. Leper also demonstrates his disinterest in the war through his searches for beaver dams and trays of snails. When Gene treks through the snow to clear train tracks, he finds Leper cross country skiing around “... looking for—a beaver dam… ‘It’s interesting to see the way beavers adapt to the winter”, Leper tells Gene, “Have you ever seen it?’” (95). Leper has always been very interested in animals and how they adapt to their environments. Even though the war is on everyone’s mind, including Gene’s, it is definitely not in Leper’s because he would rather look for beaver dams than contribute to the war effort. Contrary to his disinterest of the war at the beginning of the novel, when recruiters from the United States ski troops show a propaganda film to the class, Leper is intrigued and immediately wants to join the war cause. After hearing of Leper’s enlistment Gene claims...

Gangs are made up of all types and kinds of human beings from men, to woman, and even children. A good amount of the crime in several communities around the U.S. is victimized by the gang related activity. Gang activity is higher in cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, Arizona and New York, with more than half of all homicides thought to be gang related homicides (Muhlhausen, 2007). Overall organized crime is anywhere and every where, this is a very difficult area for law enforcement to keep control over, a none ending battle against something that will always gain new members. These new members join for many reasons and come from many backgrounds, mainly from distress and un-oriented families. Gangs...
