Всеукраїнський студентський конкурс перекладу „Художнє слово в світовій культурі”

Організатори конкурсу - філологічний факультет Східноукраїнського національного університету імені Володимира Даля, кафедра теорії та практики перекладу германських і романських мов філологічного факультету. До участі в конкурсі запрошуються студенти вищих навчальних закладів.
Кожен конкурсант може взяти участь у конкурсі з будь-якої номінації або за декількома номінаціями.
Для участі у конкурсі подається окрема заявка за кожною з номінацій. Учасники конкурсу виконують переклад одного (на власний вибір) поетичного твору з англійської / німецької / французької / української мови. За бажанням, можна узяти участь у декількох номінаціях, або зробити переклади декількох творів у вибраній номінації.
Конкурс проводиться за такими номінаціями:
Номінація 1 – Кращий переклад поетичного твору з англійської мови на українську мову.
Номінація 2 – Кращий переклад поетичного твору з англійської мови на російську мову.
Номінація 3 – Кращий переклад поетичного твору з французької мови на українську.
Номінація 4 – Кращий переклад поетичного твору з французької мови на російську мову.
Номінація 5 – Кращий переклад поетичного твору з німецької мови на українську.
Номінація 6 – Кращий переклад поетичного твору з німецької мови на російську мову.
Номінація 7 – Кращий переклад поетичного твору з української мови на англійську.
Номінація 8 – Кращий переклад поетичного твору з української мови на французьку мову.
Номінація 9 – Кращий переклад поетичного твору з української мови на німецьку мову. Роботи приймаються на конкурс до 25 лютого 2015 року. Роботи, надіслані пізніше цього терміну, розглядатися не будуть. За кожною з номінацій і творів журі визначить трьох переможців (перше, друге, третє місце відповідно). Переможці конкурсу будуть оголошені на сайті Східноукраїнського національного університету імені Володимира Даля, а також поінформовані особисто (через телефон / e-mail).
Всі учасники отримають сертифікат про участь в конкурсі перекладу. Переклади, направлені на конкурс, повинні бути авторськими, такими, що не були оприлюднені раніше, являти собою самостійний оригінальний переклад. Переклад, здійснений за допомогою програм-перекладачів не допускається. Переклади надаються у форматі doc. / rtf. / odt., набрані через 1,5 інтервал, Times New Roman 14 кегль, в електронному вигляді – як додаток до e-mail. Перед текстом перекладу слід вказати прізвище, ім’я, по-батькові автора, назву вищого навчального закладу, назву міста, спеціальність, курс та шифр групи. Переклад та сканована заявка на участь (зразок у Додатку 2) повинні бути на окремих аркушах. Учасники конкурсу направляють виконані переклади та заявку на електронну адресу pereklad_konk@i.ua. У темі листа слід зазначити: „ Переклад на конкурс”. Нагородження переможців Конкурсу перекладу відбудеться 25 березня 2015 року.
За підсумками Конкурсу видається збірка перекладів переможців Конкурсу. Переможці Конкурсу перекладу нагороджуються дипломами та призами.
Кращі переклади будуть представлені на сайті університету www.snu.lg.ua, а також опубліковані у збірнику перекладів.

Мій перший вірш написаний в окопі, на тій сипкій од вибухів стіні, коли згубило зорі в гороскопі моє дитинство, вбите на війні.
Лилась пожежі вулканічна лава, стояли в сивих кратерах сади.
І захлиналась наша переправа шаленим шквалом полум'я й води.
Був білий світ не білий вже, а чорний.
Вогненна ніч присвічувала дню.
І той окопчик – як підводний човен у морі диму, жаху і вогню.
Це вже було ні зайчиком, ні вовком – кривавий світ, обвуглена зоря!
А я писала мало не осколком великі букви, щойно з букваря.
Мені б ще гратись в піжмурки і в класи, в казки літать на крилах палітур.
А я писала вірші про фугаси, а я вже смерть побачила впритул.
О перший біль тих не дитячих вражень, який він слід на серці залиша!
Як невимовне віршами не скажеш, чи не німою зробиться душа?!
Душа в словах – як море в перископі,
І спомин той – як відсвіт на чолі…
Мій перший вірш написаний в окопі.
Він друкувався просто на землі.

Students, particularly, are not encouraged to read novels. ...The novel ‘Dream of Red Mansions’ was written by Xueqing Cao, which is one of the four most Famous Classical Chinese Novels. The point of view in which the story is written is of Sam and Beth Brooks, two siblings who have been separated at Christmas in 2004, with Sam on vacation away from home and Beth forcibly staying at university for a swim meet that she must attend. I believe that the author chose to write from these perspectives because both characters are greatly affected greatly by the main plot, though dealing with it in two different situations. The novel emerged as a new and significant mode of writing, becoming more than means of providing entertainment, it become a means of radical questioning that would lead a change in entrenched attitudes. THE NOVEL AS FICTION As against imaginative fictional, the novel is a realistic form. It presents that segment of life and society in more or less approximate terms, which has been seen and experienced by the actual men and women of a particular period. The concept of mirroring or reflecting an object is more significant in the case of the novel than it would be in the case of poetry or dreams. While reading a novel, readers are transformed to a different world with its own laws, rules and regulation. Towns and villages, markets, streets and pathways hold out as actual places with their distinct coloring and feel. Not only the characters are shown as speaking with their own mannerisms but ordinary information about their appearances, conditions, opinions and state of mind also imparted by the author in his or her voice. The often anti-Catholic agenda of the philosophes and the libertine novel had been counterbalanced by writers such as Rousseau and Bernardin de Saint-Pierre, who sought to reveal God through the wonders of the natural world. But it was Chateaubriand’s Atala (1801) that inaugurated the new genre of the Catholic novel as a riposte to the dechristianization associated with the Revolution. Chateaubriand was more partial to the epic, however, and in this he was followed by Bonald, who appreciated the scope that the epic afforded for the depiction of ‘le merveilleux chretien’, including angels.1 An interesting ´ twentieth-century representative of this tradition is Patrice de La Tour du Pin, ´ whose three-volume Somme de poesie (1946 – 63) charts the progression from lyrical poetry in a neo-Romantic vein, through a process of kenosis or selfemptying (which involves a shift towards prose in the second volume), to the ´ ´ creation of a new theopoesie.2 Epic poetry continued to offer a means of exploring religious and scientific ideas throughout the nineteenth century (Quinet, Hugo, Bouilhet), but there was already a backlash by the 1820s, and, as the novel rapidly established itself as the major literary genre, a number of Catholic sub´ genres developed.
