This day, I learnt how to sample data (using either random sampling or cluster sampling). This has enable me to know why two samples that have the characteristics of a population are most probably different but produce the same result.

I also learnt about the two types of data-qualitative data or factor and quantitative data or numeric. Now I know why numerical technique are applied to numeric value as they are numbers and cannot be applied to letters and words which are factors.

This day, I was able to create a directory IntroStat in my computer. I was also able to download the data files successfully.

When I executed the commant get() in R, the address of the directory that I created displayed. Also, when I executed the command dir(), the csv file that I downloaded and saved to the IntroStat folder display as the output. …show more content…
I learnt how to summarize a data using the functions table and data.frame in R. Now, I can determine the frequency, relative frequency and cumulative frequency of a sequence of data in R

I also learnt about the common problems that occurs in data. This will enable me to make good decision before accepting any conclusion from statistical analysis.

This day, I prepared and submit my assignment. From the assignment I perfected more on how to read data into R, determine the names and type of variable in R, round values in R, determine frequency, and interpret frequency from table and bar plot of a data sample.
