1.0 Assignment 2 Reflection
In assignment 2, I was responsible for the last part of the submission that is discussing the in-scope and out-of-scope concepts, matching the related design principles with our decisions, and discussing the design decisions we took while designing the prototype. Here are the two things I want to reflect on:
1. Discussing the design decisions
2. Matching related design principles

1.1 Design Decision Discussion
For discussing design decisions, I retrieved and listed all the features from the working prototype and gave reasons to each of them. In order to complete my discussion, I talked with the member who’s in charge of the user cases, so I was advised which components are vital. On the other hand, by consulting with the prototype builder, I …show more content…
The one who wrote the user case instructed the participant since she was more familiar with the user case. Rest of us did the observation and wrote down any field notes. Observing subjects is vital because it can reflect on whether our prototype buttons can explain themself, whether there exists potential bugs or incomplete feedback loop, and so forth. Moreover, field notes were recorded for reconsider and reanalysis later in order to help with further development.
Although the instructions are same, also all 3 subjects are fairly familiar with software development and racing games, but it takes different times and approaches for each subject to complete that instruction. Before my team perform this evaluation I never realised these tiny differences can be vital and become the reasons for further polishing.
Different people may notice different aspect. My team help me to establish a more complete and deeper observations. Without my team, my observation would be too partial and incomplete.

...Assignment 2: Quiz Angie Dawson University of Southern California   Assignment 2: Quiz 5. The client in this vignette is concerned about her aunt, who exhibits several distressing symptoms. There are two anxiety disorders which should be considered which fit the aunt’s presenting symptoms. These symptoms suggest that she may be living with either agoraphobia or a social anxiety disorder (SAD). Both belong to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) (APA, 2013) category of anxiety disorders. Agoraphobia is the most commonly known phobia or irrational fear in the United States (Dinsmoor, 2015). Its root word, agora is Greek meaning fear of the marketplace (Dinsmoor, 2015). Generally, people are diagnosed with agoraphobia if they “usually avoid anxiety-provoking situations which may cause them to become housebound” (Dinsmoor, 2015). SAD is an anxiety disorder which has a both familial and environmental etiologies (Isomura et al., 2015). Typically, underlying negative biases influence a person’s thoughts which are...

...security is sensitive to even a slight change in the pattern of the weather and climate. Hence these countries, more specifically small-scale farmers in low-income countries, are the most vulnerable group to the effect of global warming and climate change. [1]. In contrast, developed and developing countries share a responsibility of using fossil fuel as the energy source for the industrial sector, which contributes a significant release of greenhouse gasses (GHG) into the atmosphere. Another striking fact is that the food choice and lifestyle, such as a high consumption of meat, also plays a role in the production of GHG. Food production, especially livestock production, is responsible for 70% of all agricultural land use and 18% of global GHG. [2, 3]. Is it fair that the most vulnerable group in the poor countries have to bear the consequences of the other group’s actions? This concern makes me reflect and wonders of what action I can do. It would be unrealistic to think that I can do the...

...for criticisms to the theory of memory. When discussing the basis of personal identity, Sam’s answers became circular. Circular in this context means that Sam’s answers did not offer a direct conclusion. His ideals would beg the question and would not indicate or support the theory of memory to be possible. If memory and experiences were the foundation of personal identity then Sam’s claim regarding having two individuals live the same memories to create one would not be accurate. The problem with this is that the theory states that a character’s memories make them who they are and make them unique from every other being therefore having two bodies will just mean that one is an imposter with false recollections that it did not live. 2. Bruce Banner and The Hulk as seen in my perspective is the same person. What made me come to this conclusion was that a few seconds before Bruce turned into his ultimate form he was asked to get angry but he turned and said “I am always angry”. This shows that he had no difficulty in altering his physical form because internally his form or personal identity remains the same. In other words whether he’s in his human form or hulk form he is always angry. The theory of memory and same soul, aids to prove my belief because the memory theory states that experiences and recollections make an individual who they are while the same soul theory states that personality and having your own unique character constructs your personal identity. Before turning...

Based on item-total correlations, please identify which item(s) you think should be deleted and explain why. (Please review your Item Analysis slides to complete this section correctly) Regarding item-total correlation, item 1 and 5 should be deleted. A positive correlation indicates that the item discriminates well between high and low scoring groups, which is the ideal. ...We live in a world were having a college education is a must in order to live a comfortable life. Having success while in college and maintaining a high GPA above a certain level is important and beneficial in regards to obtaining scholarships, financial awards or assistance. A high GPA can also open doors to academic honors and internship opportunities and it becomes a little easier to continue your education and getting into grad school. However, I don’t feel that my college GPA can define mine work ethic or anyone else in the work force. Although there are seven learning styles, visual, aural, verbal, physical, logical, social and solitary, a student must follow the education metrics of his or hers college and follow a certain style of learning in order to obtain good grades. In other words a college GPA is measure by how good of a test taker a student is. It does not measure the creativity of a student or if he/she understands the information of a certain topic. An example of this is a student can study a chapter in a course until he/she understands the rules that are needed to solve the questions in the chapter, however when the student takes the test and does not show his work his instructor gives the student zero points not because he got the answers wrong but because he did not follow directions. Not to mention that my GPA does not determine how smart I am or anyone else. My current GPA is 3.2 but I also have a full time career and I have a disadvantage with English...

However, I had set a goal for myself to create flashcards and practice by “teaching” the material to someone else, but due to personal issues, I was unable to meet those objectives. Furthermore, environmental distractions played a significant role in my studying as my roommates were continuously inviting people over and the house was always loud, causing me to lose focus while studying. ...A 3 X 2 X 2 between-subjects experimental design was carried out. The two manipulations were: (1) ad content: personal benefit and environmental benefit, and (2) brand familiarity: familiar brand and non-familiar brand. The stimuli were twelve advertisements that featured three product categories: bottled water, hybrid cars and toilet paper; and two real brands for each category: familiar and non-familiar. Table 2 summarizes their selection and combinations. The treatment condition ads were created as full-color print ads that included equal background and font size within the same product category, but the content of the copy emphasized the personal or environmental benefit with the presence of the familiar or non-familiar brand. The message of the personal or environmental benefit was exactly the same in either familiar or non-familiar brand. Print advertising was well-suited for the purposes of this research because it is considered as a medium frequently related to obtaining information about environmental issues by consumers (Lafferty and Edmondson, 2009; Iyer, Banerjee and Gulas, 1993). In addition, it was used in previous studies to assess green advertising...
