2.4.1.Oxide trapping charge

After the metal oxide semiconductor devices exposed to radiation, Ionizing radiation gradually breaks the bound between the bond of Si-OH, Si-O- Si in the atom of the inside component; therefore, the oxide trapping charge and interface trapping charge is formed. [12] It takes NMOSFET as example, the figure 4 shows the process of trapped charge that the photo of radiation transfer the energy after the exposure of ionizing radiation while the electron and hole is generated in between the gate-source of silicon oxide. [9] The movement is completed, because the mobility of the electron is fast while the electron of silicon oxide will move to gate the source. In contrast, the mobility for hole is significantly slower compared with the electron, so the movement of holes is transport by hopping through the localized state in silicon oxide bulk. This results in a trap in between the movement of holes. The positive trapping charge is formed in the silicon oxide where near between Silicon dioxide and silicon substrate while negative electrons locate in the interface of semiconductors. [13]

[10] Firstly, trapping charge has a significant impact on the threshold voltage. More exactly, the most common effect is to cause the shift of threshold voltage, the figure 5 illustrates the relationship for C-V characteristic curve. [14] It can clearly see the shift of capacitance-voltage because of trapped charge. In the other word, the total charge of the oxide trapping charge and interface trapping charge find an equivalent negative charge to result in the semiconductor band bending. So it is necessary to add the negative charge between metal and the semiconductor to let it become the flat band. It explains how the trapping charge to affect the threshold voltage illustrated by figure 6.

...There are so many devices on the market these days that it can be hard to make a decision when making a new purchase. One big topic these days is whether a laptop or a Chromebook is the better purchase. It turns out that they are both great products, and that the better purchase depends on the needs of the user. Many Chromebooks are less expensive, but I chose to compare a Chromebook and a laptop that are of similar price ranges. Using the Amazon, Toshiba and HP websites, I chose to compare a Toshiba Satellite C55 and a HP Chromebook 14. These two devices have similarities, but they are also very different. A laptop is a personal computer that is easily used on the go, as they are light and compact. These devices are designed to have the functionality of a desktop computer. Most applications and documents associated with the device are stored in the local memory. Therefore they can be used while connected or disconnected to the internet (gcflearnfree.org). A Chromebook is a different kind of laptop that runs on Google Chrome OS. They were designed to be used while connected to the internet therefore most of the applications and documents associated with the device are stored in the cloud (laptopmag.com). Both devices have high definition Intel graphics along with 1366 x 768 high definition LED backlit displays. Their audio and webcam specifications are almost equivalent. The only audio difference is that the Chromebook’s microphone has echo cancellation and noise reduction...

..."Quick, pass The B12, I'm getting Shrink-brain." In a discovery by Oxford University recently their findings revealed that there is a clear link between low quantities of vitamin B12 and brain shrinkage. Scientists who were using physical checks, memory tests, and brain scans to examine 107 people from the ages of 61 to 87. The same group of volunteers were later retested and the researchers found that those with the lowest levels of the B12 vitamin were also found to have smaller brains, conclusively confirming, that the earlier research done, which showed a link between brain atrophy and low levels of B12, was correct.. Go easy on the booze. In brain scans of more than 1,800 patients it was found that those who drank 14 or more drinks a week had up to 2 percent more brain shrinkage than those of tea drinkers. Women in their seventies were the highest risk group. The researchers also discovered another interesting anomaly, that the hippocampus which is that part of the brain which stores memories was found to be 10 percent smaller in beer drinkers than those who drank only wine. And the inhalation of cannabis marijuana was shown to have the exact same brain rotting effect....

...Most image-processing techniques involve treating the image as a two-dimensional signal and applying standard signal-processing techniques to it. Bluetooth is a wireless technology standard used for transmitting data over short distances. The transmitter designed for the paper is a Bluetooth based transmitter for voice signal transmission and a similar transmitter for video transmission except for Analog to Digital Converter which is replaced by an Image Processing System. The Bluetooth runs at license exempt band of 2.45 Gigahertz and within a range of 10 meters. The older versions were providing speeds of about 2.1 Mbps. But the modern Bluetooth version 4.1 provides improved speeds for easy transmission, reduced buffering and less power consumption. The color depth of grayscale image used here is 8 bits and that of the Binary image is 1 bit monochrome. The multiplexer used here has a bandwidth of...

...Exercise One Nt1310 Week 1 In: Computers and Technology Exercise One Nt1310 Week 1 NT1310:Week 1 Telecommunications By: Kenneth Martin You are an IT Network Specialist and are required to develop the design of the company’s telephone system for its new building which will begin construction in a few months. In order to get a background which will help when developing the new system, your supervisor asked you to research the current Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) currently used by the company. You must research the system components and report back to your supervisor , the Telecommunications Manager, within a week. 1. Describe a local land line phone system based on the following Landline Telephone Components: a. Local Loop a local loop is the wired connection from a telephone company's central office in a locality to its customers' telephones at homes and businesses. This connection is usually on a pair of copper wires called twisted pair. The system was originally designed for voice transmission only using analog transmission technology on a single voice channel. Today, your computer's modem makes the conversion between analog signals and digital signals. With Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) or Digital Subscriber Line (DSL), the local loop can carry digital signals directly and at a much higher bandwidth than they do for voice only. b. Central Office In telephone communication in the United States, a central office (CO) is an office in a locality...
