I know I have been challenged in the past with being certain I had investigated all potential sources of evidence. For example, many times, I am researching educational literature and I often find that I can locate information from a variety of sources including nursing databases (Cinahl). One of the most helpful things I have found to do is when I am conducting a search is to look in the reference list for the articles I am choosing to discover if I am missing an important article or book from a source I haven’t explored yet. I look forward to learning about the challenges you faced in your literature search and how you overcame those challenges. I can assure you that we will all learn a lot from this discussion. The Course Outcomes (COs) we will apply in Unit 3 include: • Examine the sources of evidence that contribute to professional nursing practice. • Apply research principles to the interpretation of the content of published research studies. Review the guidelines, grading rubric, and brief video (link found in guidelines) that explain the Research Database...

...Abstract The fast food industry is on in an upward trend. The demand itself is growing each year as it offers an easy, delicious and time saving way to grab a bite. With the hectic lifestyle nowadays, it is no surprise that more people tend to eating-out in fast food restaurants. Thus, fast food restaurants are competing among each other, advertising their brands in order to attract customers. As the customers now have a huge range of fast food patterns and restaurants to choose, local fast food restaurants have to be sensitive in current demand and be innovative to ensure they meet their customer satisfaction. This research will focus only on service quality as a factor influencing customer’s satisfactions. The aim is to do an investigation about the service quality and customer satisfaction at A&W restaurant, Seksyen 7, Shah Alam. Using 5 SERVQUAL instruments, questionnaires will be designed and distributed to respondents. The findings will create awareness of service quality and customer satisfaction, thus help to develop future marketing strategy. 1.0 Introduction 1.1 Fast Food Industry The fast food industry is also known as Quick Service Restaurants (QSR). ...that explains how we speak of “models” and why we do not make a sharp distinction between “describing” and “modeling” demographic processes. Then follows Part II that deals with data and methods. In the present version of the text, we almost exclusively discuss mortality and fertility data; migration is only mentioned in Chapter 6 and briefly considered in the context of a Leslie model at the end of the text. In addition to providing a general introduction to concepts of demography, the text also intends to show how to practically work with demographic data. We therefore extensively document all the data used and explain the statistical calculations in detail. In fact, most of these calculations are quite simple; the only exception is the discussion of Leslie models in Chapters 17 and 18 which requires some knowledge of matrix algebra. Except for these chapters, the text has been so written that it may serve as an introduction to elementary statistical methods. The basic approach is identical with the author’s Grundz¨ge der sozialwissenschaftlichen Statistik (2001). u Virtually no previous knowledge of...

...of society. A perfect misanthropist’s heaven: and Mr. Heathcliff and I are such a suitable pair to divide the desolation between us. A capital fellow! He little imagined how my heart warmed towards him when I beheld his black eyes withdraw so suspiciously under their brows, as I rode up, and when his fingers sheltered themselves, with a jealous resolution, still further in his waistcoat, as I announced my name. ’Mr. Heathcliff?’ I said. A nod was the answer. ’Mr. Lockwood, your new tenant, sir. I do myself the honour of calling as soon as possible after my arrival, to express the hope that I have not inconvenienced you by my perseverance in soliciting the occupation of Thrushcross Grange: I heard yesterday you had had some thoughts - ‘ 2 of 540 Wuthering Heights ’Thrushcross Grange is my own, sir,’ he interrupted, wincing. ‘I should not allow any one to inconvenience me, if I could hinder it - walk in!’ The ‘walk in’ was uttered with closed teeth, and expressed the sentiment, ‘Go to the Deuce:’ even the gate over which he leant manifested no sympathising movement to the words; and I think that circumstance determined me to accept the invitation: I felt interested in a man who seemed more exaggeratedly reserved than myself. When he saw my horse’s breast fairly pushing the barrier, he did put out his hand to unchain it, and then sullenly preceded me up the causeway, calling, as we entered the court, - ‘Joseph, take...
