Along with justice, the military occupation also reflects Aristotle’s assessments and thoughts on human being’s actions. Aristotle states that all human action is either involuntary or voluntary. Actions can be involuntary through either force, the cause is in external circumstances and the agent contributes nothing, or ignorance, the cause is due to ignorance of particular situations or pain and regret is felt later. A voluntary action is one that the first principle (source) is in the agent and the particular situation is known. According to this, Israel’s action in implementing military occupation is completely voluntary as they know what they are doing (have no ignorance on the subject) and they think nothing of it (no pain and regret is felt). The most efficient way to evaluate morality is through looking at the decisions a person, or in this case a nation, makes. The solution of keeping Palestinians under military occupation is analogous to Hitler restricting Jews through the Nazi Law that was carried out by the German military. If the Jewish people wish to resolve their issues with Palestine, it should not be carried out through continuing this same method that was used upon them during WWII. To prevent horrific moral and unethical issues like genocide from happening, the Israel military must not perform these Nazi-like, unlawful actions on the Palestinians. In philosophical terms, performing a wrong to achieve a right will not result in a true, morally right end. The Israel government must learn from their own history and grow from it, which can be done by removing this dehumanizing occupation. Fortunately, there are Jewish organizations that realize the moral dilemma behind this pro-occupation argument and are fighting for the freedom of the Palestinian
