Picasso was born October 25, 1881 in Malaga, Spain son to professor of drawing José Ruiz Blasco and Maria Picasso Lopez. Instead of taking his father’s name he took his mothers, he became one of the greatest and most influential artist of the 20th century and creator (with George Braque) of Cubism.
