The effects of the digital revolution are positively impacting more aspects of our lives as we advance through the 21st century. Specifically, education has been altered, almost fundamentally, in its ability to to reach farther and teach more uniquely. In a time of tough global competition, online education is providing students with the skills that can prepare them for the modern world. One manner in which the education system reaps benefits from the increase in online education is the development of a more flexible teaching arrangement. Document A states that the, “always-on nature of the Internet and mobile access devices provides our education system with the opportunity to create learning experiences that are available anytime and anywhere.” Technology gives students the ability to continue learning outside of the classroom and to communicate with the…show more content… The Government wanted technology to, “support student interaction with STEM content in ways that promote deeper understanding of complex ideas” (Source A) and therefore included a section in the Elementary and Secondary Education Act devoted to the significance of online education helping students better understand STEM subject matters. Many people wonder about the competence of online education courses, however Document C clearly illustrates the adequacy of these courses.
