Idea To organize carwash and selling car accessories using only 50 zl. At intersections approach to vehicles and offer to wash windshield, side window. Take 2 zl for each wash.

Pluses:

• immediacy of the transaction

• Big stream of clients.

Minuses:

• dependence on the weather.

1. Work only in daylight hours (8 a.m - 4 p.m). In this hours we don’t need to buy and wear a special reflective vest.

2 Choose a location. Is necessary to choose a place with an average flow of cars in contaminated areas (near construction projects or planting trees under which frequently park is placed).

3. Consumables and their price:

1. Window cleaner (750 ml) – 7,99 zl

2. Brushed scraper – 7,99 zl

3. Microfiber cloth – 1,54 zl * 5 = 7,7 zl

4. Air fresher – 4,99 zl * 5 = 24,95 zl

Sum: 7,99 + 7,99 + 7,7 + 24,95 = 48,63 zl

Expenditure:

1. Window cleaner.

If one spraying = 3 ml, then one bottle will be enough for 750/3 = 150 sprays.

For one car washing we need average 3 sprays, so using one bottle we will be able to clean 150/3 = 50 cars.

2. One Microfiber cloth will be enough for 10 cars, so using 5 Microfiber cloth, which we have bought, we will be able to clean 50 cars.

3. Brush scrapper. This tool will be used very often and we can do not take it into consideration.

For 50 cars we need:

• 1 bottle of Window cleaner;

• 5 microfiber cloth

It costs 7,99 + 7,7 = 15,69 zl.

Washing one car costs: 15,69 / 50 = 0,31 zl.

Is it possible to clean 50 cars daily?

Yes. One working day = 8 hours = 480 minutes. 480 minutes / 50 cars = 1 car in 9,6 minutes

Net profit daily for washing cars:

50 cars * 2 zl = 100 zl – 15,69 zl = 84,31 zl

4. Selling car accessories.

For our first working day we have bought 5 Air fresher (4,99 zl for each one). Assume, that only 10 % of our clients want to buy Air fresher for their car. 10% from 50 cars = 5 cars = 5 Air freshers. We will not sell goods for the price, we bought them. 1 Air fresher will cost 10 zlotas.

So, we have additional profit from selling car accessories:

5 Air freshers * 10 zl = 50 zl. Net profit: 50 - 24,95 = 25,05

Summary daily net profit: 84,31 + 25,05 = 109,36

As you can see, we earned 109 zl for our first working day. It is 109 zl * 7 days = 765 zl weekly, 765 zl * 4 = 3827 zl monthly (4 weeks).

Additionally, we can sell more car accessories (for example, stickers, steering wheel covers, napkins for salon and others) for more revenue.

For example:

There is traffic light On the crossing of aleja Wilanowska and Pulawska street, where the red light is turned for 76 seconds, and green for 24 seconds. On the red light there is traffic jam average for 27 cars. So, during every red light we will be able to clean 1 car (it is necessary only 47 seconds for fast cleaning 1 car). If we have enough materials we can gain our revenue for cleaning 288 cars daily for 576 zlotas - 0,31 * 288 = 486 pln.
