Organizing

The four functions of management are what most organizations follow to achieve goals and objectives in accordant with the organization mission. PepsiCo is a corporation, which exercise these functions in building a successful organization. The four functions are planning, organizing, leading, and controlling. Planning focused on organizational goal to be accomplished. Organizing is structure created by management to achieve goals and objectives, keeping in mind the organization best interest. In leading management ensures task is completed effectively, and to maintain success in the organization. The controlling function allows management to monitor and make changes as well as solve issues before they escalate in an organization. An organization must have one own prospective of organizing, this allow consistency with the human, physical, and financial resources of the organization. According to Management Study Guide (2008) “All the three resources are important to get results. Therefore, organizational function helps in achievement of results which in fact is important for the functioning of a concern” (par 1) PepsiCo demonstrate great outputs because of the three resources, this organization acknowledges its function in areas of managing the organization resources as well as employees work schedule. This paper will focus on the knowledge and technology within PepsiCo and how these prospective function daily.
