However, little research has been done in The Bahamas to determine what Bahamian educators can do to support second language learners in their classrooms. This paper assesses: 1. The impact of Sustained Silent Reading on comprehension for ELLs 2. The impact of Think Aloud and Read Aloud on reading comprehension for ELLs.
