Being a teacher requires you to able to adapt and overcome the different obstacles you are encountering. One of the biggest obstacles that a teacher will face during his or hers career is developing different ways or alter the curriculum in order for the students to understand the subject. The reason for that is that every student learns differently. In other words every person has a different learning style. In fact, a person’s learning style refers to the preferred way in which the student absorbs, processes, comprehends and memorizes information. For example, when learning how to bake a cake some students might understand the process by following verbal instructions, while others have to be more hands on.

You store information by the way words sound to you and you have an easier time understanding verbal instructions than written ones. An auditory learner frequently learns by reading out loud because they have to hear it in order to comprehend the information. In addition to auditory learning, there is the visual learning. A visual learner learns by reading or seeing pictures. That person understands and remembers information by using his or hers sense of sight. Visual learners can picture what they are learning in their head by the use of visual images. Many students who learn by visualization often close their eyes to remember something. Since, they primary are using their sense of sight to decode the information, those students may be easily distracted by sounds. Lastly, but not least is the tactile learning method. If you are a tactile learner, you learn by touching and doing. You understand and remember things through feeling and touching. You are a "hands-on" learner who prefers to touch, move, build, or draw what you learn, and you tend to learn better when some type of physical activity is involved. As a tactile learner, the student
