Are: Richard and Maurice McDonald; ray Kroc. McDonalds is the world largest chain fast food restaurant also serving around millions of customers daily and plotted around many counties. McDonalds is a global business which is in a public sector, the purpose of the business is to sell plenty of food to different type of customers and make a vast amount of profit. The business supply’s a wide variety of food for example: burgers, chicken, fish, pork and many deserts. The aim of the organisation is to serve perfect food in a fun and friendly environment also to be responsible of any mistakes that occur. McDonald’s is a franchise which could be opened buy any one and they will training and supply’s, although you got to pay for stuff.

Advantages:
1) Many stakeholders can put their money into it
2) You can use the same brand name. You benefit from any promotion by the owner of the franchise.
3) The franchisor gives you support usually including help setting up the business
4) The government interacts with the business

Disvantages:
1) Costs may be higher than you expect. As well as buying the franchise.
2) The franchisor might go out of business
3) You may find it difficult to sell your franchise you can only sell it to someone approved by the franchisor.

British heart foundation

British heart foundation is a charity in Britain which prevents people from heart diseases in humans. It was found in 1961 by a group of medical professionals. British heart foundation is a national and tertiary business and does not make any profit what so ever on all of their products that get sold around 12 different stores around the UK to decrease the chances of human having a heart attacks. The purpose of British heart foundation is that it supply’s a variety of second hand gifts and products also the aim of British heart foundation is to get as many people around the world to donate money to the organisation. The British heart foundation is owned by one person and is a sole trader’s organisation.

Advantages:
1) The owner has full control of the business and can chose what’s going on.
2) As there are no staff on hand the owner also takes all of the profits made by the business.

Disvantages:
1) Also need to think about what would happen if you as the owner were to become sick or had an accident so you couldn't work.
2) All money that the organisation makes can’t go into the owner’s pocket it has to be spent on helping the business.
3) Government cannot participate with the organisation.

Conclusion:
Overall I think both organisations are not similar the reason I think

My personal opinion on both business is that mc Donald’s is a money making business which makes a lot of profit and has organisations around the world. Although British heart foundation is a charity which makes no profit and supports humans all around the world to prevent heart diseases.
