Some people pamper their pets like royalty, while others have nothing but their loving animal companion. While both are loyal and playful with their owners, cats are superior to dogs and are overall the most exceptional pet one can obtain. There are many benefits to owning a cat. Not only do dogs require walking, but they also slobber and bark annoyingly. Cats don't need walking, and additionally, cats live longer than dogs. Creme Puff, a cat from Texas lived to be 38! ...Value Chain Analysis M. Porter introduced the generic value chain model in 1985. Value chain represents all the internal activities a firm engages in to produce goods and services. VC is formed of primary activities that add value to the final product directly and support activities that add value indirectly. Michael Porter published the Value Chain Analysis in 1985 as a response to criticism that his Five Forces framework lacked an implementation methodology that bridged the gap between internal capabilities and opportunities in the competitive landscape. This framework focused on industry attractiveness as a determinant of the profit potential of all companies within that particular industry. However, significant differences in performance exist between companies operating within the same industry that can be explained either by the company's participation in a successful strategic group or by a firm's specific competitive advantages. THE VALUE CHAIN DEFINED The idea of a value chain was first suggested by Michael Porter (1985) to depict how customer value accumulates along a chain of activities that lead to an end product or service. Porter describes the value chain as the internal processes or activities a company performs “to design, produce, market, deliver and support its product.” He further states that “a firm’s value chain and the way it performs individual activities are a reflection of its history, its strategy, its approach to implementing its strategy, and the underlying...

The pet industry is thriving and continues to grow. As a result of this growth, many are using this love of pets and creating exciting new businesses ventures. Asian countries such as Japan and Korea have created a new and trendy way for those without a pet to satisfy their urge to encounter fluffy f friends. First the Kitty Cafe became a big phenomena in Japan and Korea. The service offered gourmet coffee along with the entertainment and comfort from playful rescue cats and kittens. After moving to the City of Angels from South Korea, where dog cafes are popular, animal lover Sarah Wolfgang, 21, has launched a crowd funding campaign to open a pooch-friendly parlor called The Dog Cafe where patrons can get a cup of Joe, followed by cuddle time with adoptable pups. This marketing plan will analyze what actions will need to be taken to successfully bring the Asian concept of a Dog Cafe to the American people. Situational Analysis Strengths The business will receive positive views because of the support of sheltered dogs that can end up getting euthanized. The consumers will have a high sense of charity when contributing to animal shelters with their purchases of...

...package, * product testing, * warranties * And after sales services and the like. other effects of product mix Product Mix as Per Financial Dictionary The set of goods and services a company provides. Generally speaking, a company offering a wider product mix carries less risk but also usually has a lower profit margin. That is, the profit margin for a company like Wal-Mart may not be high, but so long as most of its products have strong sales, it is in no danger of bankruptcy. On the other hand, a company may only offer a few products; this is high risk because there may be low demand for the products, but specializing in a niche market can result in exceptionally large profits. Farlex Financial Dictionary. © 2012 Farlex, Inc. All Rights Reserved Product Mix as Per Investment Term The composition of goods and services produced and/or sold by a firm. A limited product mix tends to increase the firm's risk at the same time it increases the potential for large profits. Thus, a firm specializing in a niche market in electronics is likely to...

...are both from Manila. But circumstances led us to Palawan where we stayed for almost 10 years. Within the province itself, we had to transfer to other sites for seven times. So by the time I reached 12, I felt that I had been all around. Around Palawan, at least. But don’t get me wrong. Palawan is nice and clean. I enjoyed life there, except for the water supply and electricity that came only a few hours a day. But we were provided with provisions to cope up. We had rechargeable lights and fans. We had a never ending supply of bottled water. We had the means to have things delivered to us from the city. Mind you, the city of Puerto Princesa is some 10 hours trip on a rough road from the place which we stayed the longest. Trip to the city was once a day, unless you want to go by sea, in a pumpboat for at least 5 hours, depending on the height of the waves. My sister and I grew up with nature. Looking back, our pets were the farm animals. My father is a real animal lover. Cows and carabaos were all over. It felt good to hear the goat’s noise…, to give water to the chicken, to chase the ducklings and to feed the pig. Other than our very loyal dog Jaguar, we even had baby monkeys and exotic pets like the squirrel, bat, the eagle, and the owl we all loved and named Egok. Our playmates were the neighbors and we loved role playing based on the latest television shows. I cannot forget how at least three of us wanted to be “Alwina” of the show Mulawin; and since no one...
