...GODF A bibliography is not just “works cited.” It is all the relevant material you drew upon to write the paper the reader holds. If you read any articles or books in preparing you paper, you need a bibliography or footnotes. If you cite the arguments of “critics” and “supporters,” even if you don’t name them or quote them directly, you are likely referring to information you read in books or articles as opposed to information you’ve gathered firsthand, like a news reporter, and so you need a bibliography. If you quote sources and put some of the reference information in the text, you still need a bibliography, so that readers can track down the source material for themselves. If you use footnotes to identify the source of your material or the authors of every quote, you DO NOT need a bibliography, UNLESS there are materials to which you do not refer directly (or if you refer to additional sections of the materials you already referenced) that also helped you reach your conclusions. In any event, your footnotes need to follow the formatting guidelines below. How to Write a Bibliography These guidelines follow those of the American Psychological Association and may be slightly different than what you’re used to, but we will stick with them for the sake of consistency. Notice the use of punctuation. Publication titles may be either italicized or underlined, but not both. Books Books are the bibliography format with which you’re probably most familiar. Books follow...

Compliance, grievance, identity, and excitement motivation could be indicated when aggression is used in response to unfair or perceived offensive behavior. After excluding incidents, where motives could not be coded or only staffs were aggressive, 1507 people had an experiment. For both men and women, compliance was negatively related with all other motives when grievance was positively connected with identity and negatively associated with excitement. Identity was positively associated with excitement for women but negatively associated for men. There were gender differences in motives. Men scored higher on identity and excitement, when women scored higher than did men on compliance and grievance. Women were more likely to have compliance as a primary motivation. ...Abstract 1 – Strategic Planning vs. Strategy Innovation In business, it is essential to differentiate between strategic planning and strategy innovation. Many corporations have defined processes for carrying out strategic planning - which is basically studying historical data and forecasting anticipated outcomes for the future (Scocco, 2010). It involves creating a fit to the current business model, a process centered on the company aiming to exalt the processes already in place. This method has one big flaw, however, because it relies on the assumption that the future will mirror the past. Strategy innovation, conversely, creates new business models, as it is centered on the market aiming to find new ways of creating value through new processes or products. Overall strategic planning is a major analytical process while strategic innovation is a creative one, and as Henry Mintzberg said “…nobody in the history of the world has ever created a strategy through an analytical process” (Scocco, 2010). Strategic innovation is designed to succeed in dynamic markets but that does not mean strategic planning is an obsolete management tool. The two can and should co-exist; companies should start by carrying out strategic innovation in order to identify future business opportunities and trends in the market. Afterwards they transfer what they discovered into the analytical process, making sure the action plan will fit the company’s resources, processes and values (Scocco, 2010). According...

Imbalances within the family can be difficult even without outside influences making it even more difficult. We as teachers see more than parents think we do; wemay notice that a child shows up dirty to class, or seems distracted all the time. This is when we as teachers need to find out what exactly is going on with our students and their family. As a teacher we need to discuss how we will deal with children who are struggling, how we as teachers will connect with families and the different strategies that can be used to support students and families within their learning environment. As I researched the why homelessness occurs I also found that these children are a byproduct of the life they were dealt whether by being a single parent, a fatherless home, immigrants or homeless with nowhere else to go. Knowing what we can do as Early Educators to help homeless children and their families has become very important in schools. In these synopses you will find some information that will give you a better understanding of homeless children and what we can do as...
