Competency - Consistently demonstrates a commitment to providing, or contributing to, exceptional patient and family experiences, through decision-making, behavior, attitude and action.
I continue to demonstrates my commitment to the patients by putting them first. I feel that I addresses all aspect of the patient's encounter with the office to include the patients physical comfort, as well as their emotional needs. I strive to exceed the patients and families expectation of the office by treating the patient as a person. I strive to make the patient feel that I am someone they can trust and depend on. I have a positive attitude and share that happiness with the patient. I anticipate what is needed by both the staff and patients in order to provide exceptional customer service. I let the patient know that I am available to discuss their fears and concerns about their care.

Relationships
Competency - Consistently uses relationship competencies, and builds relationships with internal customers, external customers, and co-workers by : displaying the behavior, attitude, and actions of a team player; demonstrating openness and welcoming to those who are different; and providing exceptional experiences for internal customers.
I demonstrate my ability to build relationships with the staff or internal customers by being alert to what is going on. I listen to problems and try to find resolutions for problems. I keep my word so that I can build trust with my co-workers. I keep staff informed of changes and problems. I show appreciation of what others accomplish. A strong and positive work environment will have a positive effect on the patients experience as well. Communication is a key to building relationships as well as knowing how to response appropriately. I strive to keep my mangers informed of any problems that may arise. I have a can do attitude

Character Ethic (good) There are basic principles of effective living and people can only experience true success and enduring happines as they learn and integrate these principles into their basic character. Personality Ethic (not so good) It is manipulative, deceptive, encouraging people to use techniques to get other people to like them. Personality ethic is illusory and deceptive and trying to get high quality results with its techniques and quick fixes – not effective at all. I really gained a lot from Covey’s different examples he provided in each chapter via family, business and society in general. I really find this “inside-out” approach inspiring as change starts with oneself.
