The Environmental Protection Agency under the plan of president Barack Obama to comeback climate change. Texas attorney general Ken Paxton sue the EPA for the Clean Power Plan regulation that required states to use natural gas rather than coal power to reduce carbon emission by 2030. According to the EPA, the Clean Power Plan support to be “fair, flexible and designed to strengthen the fast-growing trend toward cleaner and lower-polluting American energy.” However, Paxton argue that the cost of the power plan would increase the cost of electricity for consumers and a “major threat” to anyone who use electricity.
