Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor can be argued as the most important event of World War II because of the after effects that changed the whole war. The Pearl Harbor attack caused America to become a part of WWII and inevitably win the war. In only hours after the attack America found itself in full force against not only Japan but Germany too. Germany, Japan, and Italy were in the pact together fighting alongside and trying to overtake Europe.Questioned honor, lack of resources, and military fear are the most relevant reasons Pearl Harbor was attacked.

“I get that we might become a third class nation after two or three years if we just sit tight” Doc.E the fear of the hurt impacting their family's and nation would cause them to think the war was a good idea.Hideki Tojo also said, “ When I think about the strengthening of American defenses in the southwest pacific, the expansion of the American fleet, … I see no end to difficulties” Doc.E. The reason for the scare was because of America's growing military power; it was said that America would triple their fleet size by 1944. That's why they had to act quickly and strike first when Americans are unsuspecting and weak.
From information from before and after the bomb on Pearl Harbor, we can tell the main reasons it happened in the first place. The fear, resources, and honor were the igniters of the Pearl Harbor attack. This attack was a bad decision because they started America's fire and caused them to join the war. Japan's decision cost more than just them it also affected Italy and Germany. Pearl Harbor was a great loss and sad time but it also brought a quicker end to
