Ethics and ethical leadership is important in any organization or any field in that matter. It is important to practice these types of things because you want your organization to succeed you should do things the right way and make sure you, and your employees follow the guidelines and rules and live by them. As a leader when you follow rules, and do things that follow the rules and guidelines of your company your fellow employees will want to do the same. It is very important to lead by example. The word leader means a person who led or leads the group or organization. Which means the person who is in charge. Employees look up to this person, so it is very important to treat them right. When you treat your employees and clients right they do right by you.
As a leader in social work I would make sure I improve human welfare. There are a lot of families, and individuals that do not get the benefits they are entitled to and I would make sure they get those benefits. I would also make sure Individuals such as clients are spoken to in a respectful, and professional manner. As a leader I want to do a whole lot, but I will also make sure my employees get the benefits they deserve, and get the evaluations and one on one time they deserve as well. I am about my community and helping my community. I also want to make sure my employees are getting the respect they deserve, when you treat your employees with respect they will work hard for you and do their best.
