I understand that you might receive emails all day concerning approvals for new products; as you read my email you’re probably wondering why you should consider Billy Jealousy Beard Wash and what sets this product apart. Choice of Appropriate Channel The channel that I have chosen to deliver my message is the Internet. The reason why is because I am familiar the audience and I know how my boss likes to communicate and what will be the most effective way to persuade him and receive a response. Understanding my audience is one of the first steps of planning. If my boss did not like to use email to communicate than it would affect my choice for my channel selection. Here are a few things that I know about my boss. First he is extremely busy, if I want to get an approval from him, and want him to respond I would always use email since email is a multimedia platform it makes communicating with my boss so much easier, and I would deliver the message through the Internet. Another important key is that I know my boss has immediate access to the Internet. He relies on this type of communication format, on a daily basis. Since he has access to his email at work he is more accessible to me. I know that he will receive the message regardless of his location, and he read every email, he receives every single day, because this is how he does the majority of his communicating. This is why I determined the Internet is the most reliable channel for me to deliver my message.
Sales Pitch to a Customer

The channel I have chosen to deliver my message is through the Internet. “You might have a beard if have recently graduated”, according to Experian Marketing Services, (2014, figure 3). Social media sites are a great target audience for that age because 72% of men that use the Internet also use social media sites like Facebook. Americans are low context culture especially men when it comes to addressing hygiene. That is why I chose an indirect approach. The Internet is a great channel because my target audience is Generation Y, and those individuals are the ones that have just graduated. No other generation has as much familiarity with the Internet than Generation Y and almost 3/4ths of all men that are Internet users use social media sites.
