Abstract
The American Forefathers divided the constitution into Articles I, II, and lll to ensure that the government we have is better than the Articles of Confederation. The dividing of the governments became known as the Legislative, Judicial, and the Executive branches, all designed to protect the people from attacks and benefit each generations to come.

Amendments
The original document of the constitution was designed in 1788 and revised 27 times for improvement and protect for the people. When an amendment is modified, it is essential for the constitution and is already in existence in the documents. In article V of the constitution, explains the way the 27 amendments were approved. In order to pass an amendment, first it has to be proposed by 2/3rds of both the House of Representatives and the Senate or proposed by constitutional convention. Our President does not have a constitutional role in the amendment process therefore the amendment doesn’t have to be signed by the president to pass the amendment. After the amendment becomes a joint resolution in congress it is sent to the Office of the Federal Register (OFR) for processing and publication. OFR then sends the amendment notification to each of the governors’ of all 50 states for consideration. It only takes 38 out of 50 states to certify the ratification of the amendment. Then the certification is processed into law terms and becomes an updated part of the United States constitution.
Bill of Rights In 1791, the Bill of Rights, originated from the first ten amendments of the constitution. The problems that motivate the adoption of the Bill of Rights inquires that the original document included a small amount of individual rights. In addition, the effects of the Bill of Rights, implied personal rights & due process of

Personal Action Plan

...Personal Action Plan Comm/315 March 14, 2016 Personal Action Plan Intro I would consider myself to be in the middle class, not upper middle class nor lower middle class. My husband and I live comfortably he is Active Duty Army and I work in an office setting getting paid decent money. We are able to buy things we want and not only things we need. When it comes to outings and restaurants we usually pick something the average person would choose; Olive Garden, Chilis, Apple Bee’s, a restaurant in that nature. Nothing extraordinary nor fancy. We go out to a nicer dinner on special occasions but it is not an every weekend thing, because we simply cannot afford dinner that cost $60+ per person on a regular basis. I have decided to observe people in the upper class at an expensive restaurant, my paper will cover observations that I have made, what I have learned, and how my experience has helped me feel more comfortable, and socially conscious. Observations; Comfort level My husband and I decided we would go out to a more expensive dinner so I can make some observations. We decided to go to an upper scale restaurant in Washington Dc, Fogo De Chao. It is a Brazilian steakhouse, where they serve an all you can eat amount of different types of meats. We took a seat at a table where there was a candle in the center of the table they serve your drink in a wine glass they have white cloth napkins perfectly folded on the table. The age group here ranged from mid to late 20’s to...

Personal Action Plan and Observation

...Personal Action Plan and Observation COMM/315 June 25th 2012 Elizabeth Jane Riegner, RN, PhD, NCC Personal Action Plan and Observation Social Class differences in American society are typically described as lower, middle or upper class. This determines to a large extent where one lives, work, go to school and even worship. Social class refers to one’s status in society and is usually determined by a variety of social and economic factors such as net worth, position of power, job title and dwelling. (Bucher, 2010). Other superficial factor that comes into play in social class distinction includes type of outfit, hairstyle, car, makeup, jewelry and mannerisms. The purpose of this paper is to observe a different social class outside of my normal environment and develop a personal action plan based on my observation to share with class while integrating my new found knowledge to improving cultural awareness and diversity skills. Observation I place myself in the middle class category based on my profession, net income, and decent home in the suburban area. Because of my middle class status, I chose to observe people I believe to be in the upper socio-economic class. I chose the Lenox mall located at Buckhead- Atlanta GA which has been frequented by the superstars and Millionaires. I took advantage of the weekend shopping for father's day to visit the mall and chose the high end store called Louis Vuitton (LV), a luxurious brand name store that sells variety of leather...

Personal Action Plan Observations

...Running head: PERSONAL ACTION PLAN Personal Action Plan Observations Rhonda Riley University of Phoenix Diversity in Communications COMM/315 Peter Pizor October 20, 2009 Personal Action Plan Today, instead of going to The Red Lobster with my co-worker for a lovely, lavish steak and lobster lunch; I decided to go to the unemployment office (Henderson - Job Connect), to observe the various types of people coming in to apply for employment; in an attempt to identify the social differences that one would encounter there and possibly get a story or two from some of the applicants. What did you observe? Upon entry, I spoke with the receptionist and explained reason for being in the office. I told him that my Diversity in Communication assignment required that I observe the people and environment of a public business. I asked if it would be okay to hang out for awhile and people watch. He said sure, he actually thought it was amusing. My first observation of the place was that the majority of the applicants in the office were Caucasian women. Had it not been an employment office, you would not have know that they were there to seek employment because they were not dressed to professional, not as one would dress when applying for employment. They wore jeans and t-shirts with tennis shoes or sandals. Why was this situation out of your comfort zone? Initially, I believed that there would be lots of lower-class citizens waiting around for assistance...

I haven’t yet seen a parent get a gift from the teacher or principle or any type of schooling system for teaching their child to be a good kid. I know for a fact that Locke would have addressed this situation the same I would of. He would of demand to get those gifts and give it to the less fortune in the city to the one who does need the extra help. And doing so this action can help the city come together. By this Locke would have started war with the city for no respect.
