This unit offers $50 dollars a month extra for hazardous duty pay, which draws a lot of the volunteers. These men begin a very rigorous training regimen under Captain Sobel, whom most of the men come to hate. Their training includes basic infantry skills - use and maintenance of various weapons, map reading, and communications. They also practice jumping with parachutes, beginning with towers of varying heights, then to the actual jump from an airplane. The hardest part of their training is a run they must make, up to the top of Mount Currahee, which is an Indian name that means We Stand Alone Together. After several long months of this training, the men of Easy Company, 506th Regiment, 101st Airborne, are shipped to Uppottery, England, where they continue their training. They are being prepared for the greatest military maneuver ever undertaken; the D-Day invasion of Normandy. The 506 is to parachute behind the German lines and work their way back towards the beach, to meet the Allies there, and hopefully cut off German supply lines to the front in the process. Jewish because reading Dostoyevsky at 13 I write poems at restaurant tables Lower East Side, perfect delicatessen intellectual. —Allen Ginsberg, "Yiddishe Kopf" The poet Allen Ginsberg, born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, returned in his later years to a narrative style of expression, shifting gears from the anger and fire of his early career. In this poem from 1991 he also touched down again, after a long hiatus spent exploring Buddhism and Eastern philosophy, upon some Jewish themes, as a way of remembering the world of his youth. He described that world in one poem, "Yiddishe Kopf," literally, a Jewish head, but more broadly, a highly distinctive Jewish way of thinking, based on insight, cleverness, and finesse. In the Philippine setting evidences revealed that 2009, 2010 and 2011 NAT results exemplified that the second year students struggled much on reading comprehension as shown by the three mean percentage scores in English subject. In particular, the mean percentage scores of Macario B. Asistio Sr. High School—Unit I for the school years 2008-2009; 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 are 43.11, 36.57 and 36.60 respectively (Department of Educational Testing and Research Center, 2009; 2010; 2011). Likewise, comprehension related studies conducted locally have verified and supported that the students showed difficulty in reading comprehension (Columna, 2013; Ayles, 2009 and Dela Cruz, 2004). In a study conducted by Columna (2013), results revealed that the students were struggling to comprehended texts in their L2 with majority of them fall under instructional level and a significant of them fall under frustration level. In the same manner, Dela Cruz (2004) found that the students in the secondary level have difficulties in reading materials in the content areas especially in Mathematics and Science. The case study method is the recommended research method in such situations when we deliberately want to cover the contextual conditions because they may be highly pertinent to the phenomenon of study. The study identifies 29 CRM Best Practices after extensive literature review. There are six sources of evidence that can be used for triangulation of data. The current study uses only two to three sources of evidence and as a result the construct validity of the case study research is affected. Though several research papers have been published in the area of CRM practices, no publication was found, across the countries, in connection to CRM Best Practices.
