It's the finally, the last game against lake oswego. You could feel the pressure coming from the stands as we walked to our side of the field with all of our stuff by outside i wasn't ready, no one was because this was a make or break, a win or fail, champion or no champion. I dropped my bag in the organized row and suited up in my goalie gear to warm up. First the lacrosse balls started off slow but slowly got faster and faster getting harder to stop but i still proceed to block one after another. Probably from the adrenaline or the fear it was hard to tell i just zoned out a kept my eyes on the ball. It was like it wasn't me just my habits and instincts as my mind dropped out without any sign. I was thirsty and it was about to start. My heart was pumping, the buzzer went off i ran to the center of the field where the referees were introducing themselves.

They line up for the faceoff, the whistle blows and i get ready for them to come to me but we get the ball and the midfielders are running up field. I was sweating more than my dog pees on the carpet, it was nerve racking just thinking this game decides who wins. None of the other games in the past mattered.
The ball goes back and forth, our side to theirs, goal on goal. The score ended up being thirteen to 12 them with only thirty seconds left. It was their ball and they were coming swiftly down the field. The set up in a sick pack formation each pass was more intense until their was five seconds left and they had to take a shot, and they did.
