Josh was sitting on the front porch of his house, wearing khaki shorts and nice buttoned up marron shirt. Then Josh’s father Bill came outside, he sat right next to Josh, to have a conversation with Josh. Josh said, he was a true redneck because he spoke with strong southern accent. Bill busted out laughing, then he said, “Son just because y'all talk with sowthern accent it don't make y'all ayy redneck.” Bill explained the characteristic of a true redneck to Josh. He said, that a true redneck is classified by his or her hobby and his or her dressing style.
A true redneck only has one hobby, and that is hunting. A true redneck will go into the woods at 4:00 AM in the morning to hunt. A true redneck will wake up before sun rise and go outside into the foggy and misty woods and look for some type of animal to hunt. A true redneck will repeat his daily routine, no matter the condition. For example, one time Bill was going hunting at 4:00 AM and it was rain with big gusty wind. Josh said, “dad, y'all mighty a-goin' hunting in this here weathuurr” then Bill replied “Son ayy true redneck don’t care about naw weathuurr.” The commitment of Bill shows that; a true redneck will never give up his hobby of hunting, no matter the condition of the weather. …show more content…
A true redneck will wear, a skin tight white tank top with “wranglers” boot cut blue jeans and “Cody James” boots. For example, Bill wore his skin-tight tank top with Wranglers boot cuts blue jeans and Cody James boots for a job interview with JCPenny. Josh said, “Dad the dress code for the interview is business professional” Bill replied “Ayy true redneck only knows about one dress code, ayn' it’s this here.” A true redneck does not care about his or her dress code. They only have one dress code, and they will not change their dress
