Cedar Point. What comes to mind when you hear those two words? A fun, exciting adventure or a frightening, hair-raising fear. For me, I always enjoy myself and experience a wonderful time. As for Claire, she has never experienced the excitement. Gladly, I was able to talk her into facing her fear of “America’s Rockin Roller Coast”. To join us in the fun, I invited Tyler and Katie as well. When it was all said and done, we planned a date and time to meet to travel up to the Lake Erie peninsula.
The morning dew was among us as we loaded up into Tyler’s SUV. Before we started our adventure, we stopped at the local gas station to stock up on morning snacks for the ride. Although we didn’t grab actual “breakfast” food, candy and sweets will do. To pass time in the car, Tyler turned on some music. We listened to various genres, including rap, pop, and country. After about two hours, across the lake, we saw the eye-catching, towering sight of the “Top Thrill Dragster”. We had made it. On the back side of the park, there is a superior food stand that serves fries and other stadium like foods. To my convenience, the stand also serves gluten-free fries. Waiting in line for the food, Katie wasn’t feeling good, so she went and sat down to rest. She looked as pale as a ghost. Unfortunately, she vomited into the bushes. Although she got sick, she was still able to eat and later on join us in the rides. We finished up our food, and we started on our way to the “Iron Dragon”.
