In my life, I was beat on both mentally and physically but only recently have I realized that these beatings have been preparing me for this ruthless world. These beatings are making me tougher and are preparing me for the unforgiving, cold world after I turn 18 and go to college. They teach me to keep fighting and to strive to better and to always get back up when I get knocked down. I started wrestling when I was 5 years old. I used to wrestle Greco-Roman, which is upper-body only. I used to be pretty good but when I turned 7, my family moved from Toledo to Sylvania, and I quit wrestling for the time being. I was not used to the environment because Toledo was way more urban to the semi rural and close-knit community that is Sylvania. I soon …show more content…
My first two matches were at Northview vs Perrysburg and Napoleon. During my first match, I got pinned in 13 seconds, and during my second match I was tech falled 26-11. During the upcoming practices I was told that I put up a good fight against the senior from Napoleon, but then I was told both the Perrysburg and Napoleon Senior’s names and after further research I had found out that I had no chance of winning those matches. Perrysburg senior was Mario Guillen, 2016 OHSAA D1 126 lbs State Champion, and Napoleon senior, Seth Beard, 2016 OHSAA D2 126 lbs State Champion, and both committed to Division 1 college programs. Many people told me that I was bad and sucked at this sport because I would constantly place 7th-10th at Jv tournaments, but during postseason, I was offered the 126 lbs varsity position for Sectionals, where I qualified as an alternate to districts. After the season was over people still told me that I sucked and that I was only given varsity because I was the last ditch effort. They told me that I had a 0% chance of being varsity again next …show more content…
Towards the end of the preseason I dropped to 126 lbs where I still was varsity but had tougher competition during the multiple upcoming tournaments. The first tournament I had at 126 lbs, I was not the scorer and Wisam was. We wrestled many same opponents but by noon, he was out of contention for the Gold but I was still in. I beat Ian Kress 10-5, who defeated Wisam 3-2 TB. I completed my run with a 4th place plaque. I competed at PITT where I got out after the first 2 rounds because of extremely tough competition but 2 people in general. Drew Mattin, soon to be 3-time state Champion, and Bruce Hrynciw, soon to be State runner up. I did not compete at the Maumee Bay Classic because of knee pain. Many people had doubts that I would even beat Wisam for the Varsity Position, but then he dropped to 120 lbs and Ryan Morgan went up. I beat Ryan for the right to compete at the NLL tournament and then beat him again to solidify my Varsity position for the rest of the season. Many people doubted that I would beat Ryan nevertheless twice and then qualify for Districts as an Alternate again, because we had added 3 teams for the Cleveland area (which is stacked) to our Section. I got 5th and went to Districts as an Alternate. Many people still believe I still am bad and that I suck at wrestling and that I won’t even break the Varsity lineup next

Education Diversity

...exceptionalities. 6. Describe the role of the teacher in the inclusive classroom. Imagine You Are the Teacher It Is The First Teaching year at Lincoln Elementary School for Ms. Branson. She has 30 fifth-graders of whom 13 are girls and 17 are boys, 12 participate in the free and reduced lunch program, 5 are English language learners, and 4 have individualized education programs (IEPs). As she plans her lesson on paragraph writing, she is trying to keep the special needs of each of her students in mind. Because Jessica has a hearing impairment, Ms. Branson decides to make a written outline that includes the important parts of a paragraph and examples of good and bad paragraphs. She also decides to go over the outline several times because Fred and Alex have a reading disability. In her plan, there is also a note to herself to find a bigger pencil and wide-lined paper for Suzy, who requires these modifications according to her IEP. Based on past writing experiences, she expects Monica to finish writing her paragraph pretty quickly, so she needs to think about an appropriate second task to keep her busy and motivated—most likely, a creative writing assignment. Ms. Branson feels about ready for the lesson, except for Jung Ju, a recent immigrant from South Korea. He seems to be falling behind despite her efforts to help him develop English skills. After giving it some thought, she decides to have Jung Ju...

...Strengthening the Ombudsman Institution in Asia Improving Accountability in Public Service Delivery through the Ombudsman About the Asian Development Bank ADB’s vision is an Asia and Pacific region free of poverty. Its mission is to help its developing member countries reduce poverty and improve the quality of life of their people. Despite the region’s many successes, it remains home to two-thirds of the world’s poor: 1.8 billion people who live on less than $2 a day, with 903 million struggling on less than $1.25 a day. ADB is committed to reducing poverty through inclusive economic growth, environmentally sustainable growth, and regional integration. Based in Manila, ADB is owned by 67 members, including 48 from the region. Its main instruments for helping its developing member countries are policy dialogue, loans, equity investments, guarantees, grants, and technical assistance. Strengthening the Ombudsman Institution in Asia Accountability is essential for good governance, and in many Asian countries the ombudsman is the key accountability institution. Originating in the West, the concept of the ombudsman arrived relatively late in Asia. Yet more and more ombudsman offices are being established in Asia, and they play a critical role in the fight against incompetence and injustice on the part of government officials.
