Vince and I often spend time in Morcella; an enchanting, tiny village in Umbria, the green heart of Italy. Morcella was built in 927AD. The Chiesa di San Silvestri was built in 1027AD and has been faithfully attended by local churchgoers for centuries. In 2006, the European Union voted Morcella as the most beautiful medieval village in the county.
