I was excited to see your opening for a Probation Clerk, and I hope to be invited for an interview.

My background includes serving as a high level clerical specialist with the US Army Reserves. Most recently, I worked as one of the principle administrative assistants to the commander of a unit of more than 200 Soldiers. There my responsibilities included assisting the Commander in his or her normal duties in areas which may include individual and unit training, administration, supply, facility and equipment maintenance, transportation, recruiting/retention, inspections, and liaison with higher headquarters and other units.

As the Unit Administrator, I answered and screened telephone calls and visitors; wrote, formatted, and proofread reports.
