I picked up my first tennis racquet when I was four years old; I started taking lessons when I was eight, and by twelve, I was playing tournaments sponsored by the United States Tennis Association. Sometime between then and now, I reached my highest ranking of about forty in New England. Throughout my tennis, I have been immersed in a community of fellow players.
