Have you ever had an experience that has shaped the way you look at something? Well, that is exactly what I am going to talk about today. My experience is my time playing softball. I know that some of you may start groaning and silently complaining. But think of it as your favorite thing. It may be soccer, singing, baseball, or whatever else you like to do. At the end of the day, I could barely feel my legs, which everyone said was a good sign because that means I practiced hard, but I'm not gonna lie, I was really sore. Fast forward to the next season. You see, my parents thought that coach Orlando was too aggressive for me because I was just beginning. So, to solve that problem, we moved to Fleming Island Athletic Association (FIAA). That is where I met a lifelong best friend, Bailey Carballo. On the first day of tryouts, me and Bailey were competing automatically. We tried and see who could the most fly balls, who hit the farthest, and who could throw farther.We automatically connected after that. I never knew that me and Bailey would become this close. We played softball together for two seasons, in the second season we both tried out for the all-star team and we both made it. We placed first in districts and continued onto the state championships, which, unfortunately, we didn't place very high in the rankings, but we still had fun which is what counts.
