I had never driven around on my parent's lap, or practice driving in a vacant parking lot like most, never really had the desire to and here I found myself preparing to take my first driving test at the age of 20. Already working, enrolled in college courses, participating in numerous volunteering programs, I relied on a less than efficient bus system, along with my bike for transportation. The reason I finally felt so compelled to get my license was for the simple fact my new place of hire was quite the distant, and it was almost counterproductive not to be officially licensed. In need of a vehicle, I had to ask, so I did, a little edgy, I asked my grandmother if I could borrow her and her car.
